Not really a deal, sorry. Its the only place that sells it, and as such has no competing prices.
#2
It is a deal if you compare it with the Special Edition for £40 and the Standard for £25. It fits nicely in at £30.

Worth noting that this art book is a smaller version of the one which comes with the SE version.

Where can you get the special edition for £40. Wouldn't mind that for £40 but it is £60 on HMV's website.

Cheers in advance

So sick and tired of these "special editions". Just get the normal edition now, save the £15. Then in 9 months time get the special edition for around a tenner or a fifteen at play.com or gamestation sale.

Agreed! As Zavvi currently has the Exclusive right to sell this item in the UK, the price listed is the Recommended Retail Price.

Should the price subsequently fall below the initial price then a deal listing is warranted.

Not voted either way.

I voted hot so it gets awareness. Seems like a nice edition that's halfway between normal and SE.
Still haven't decided which one to get...

Are you sure this artbook is smaller?
#7
The Special Edition is 164 pages, this one is 96 pages apparantly.

Both of these non-standard editions are having only a single production run, so while you could wait for it to drop in price there's always a chance they won't have anymore.

Before when I said £40, I was refering to the PC version, sorry!

What the hell, I ordered the SE version... it's worth it if it's only 1 print... let's see how many they actually print.

Got my copy this morning, a full day early and at £29.95 for the Special Edition. Well impressed with Zavvi..
#11
Mine showed up this morning, really nice set for the money and before release. The 360 version is £29.99 currently not £39.99 as stated here.

where?

at zavvi probably, as its a zavvi exclusive.

But that price has gone up now anyway.

The artbook is pretty boring. The game is almost exactly the same as the first but with even more tedious fetch and defend quests, which makes it okay for a single playthrough. I recommend buying or renting the normal edition.

This Rapture version was only £30.00 a week ago (PS3 & 360) from Zavvi. The price has actually gone up.

This isn't a deal at all

there was a voucher with zavvi a few days ago and you could have got the collectors on 360/PS3 for £45,95 I was very close to getting it but decided not to

I was ok with my Rapture edition for £28.95, although Ive heard great things about the artbook in the collectors

Who gives a toss about a book? .........I really don't 'get' these *special* editions.

Its a game. You dont need a book, art cards, posters, or figurines to play it. They dont improve, or even effect, the game at all.

Just seems like a cheap way to reap monster profits from the more geeky gamer/collector.
