They had to put this up early because they ran out of CD Keys for the Prey deal, lol. Already completed the xbox version a couple of times but I couldn't resist at this price!

would you kindly vote this hot?

Great spot!

Heat & Rep added!

Make it so!

Soth 8-)

Completed PC twice and PS3 once...but still couldn't resist it again at this price!!!

never even knew prey was that popular? Anyways, still hot deal, but couldn't you get Bioshock/Obvlivion for £5 instead?

EDIT: that deal i was talkin about had expired D:..
#6
Hot, just saw now on Steam that prey got replaced with Bioshock, deal of the year tbh.
#7
naaa this isnt deal of the year (in terms of video game genre). That £5 i was talking about beats it (and even that I feel might not be doty).
#8
good deal :D

i think steam are going to make me broke by the end of the year lol

I've heard so many bad and good things about Steam and I've yet to install it on my PC. Is steam ok, I mean really is it ok ? I want to pick up this deal but im weary about installing Steam.

Took me ages to download Railworks train simulator, and took me ages to figure out why it wouldn't work (make sure your .NET is updated) but eventually it worked and I was able to get the passengers from Newcastle to York in a swift manner.

is good but have it on the xbox360....prob best sound in any game, though dead space runs it close
i got left 4 dead on the xbox360 for 12.50, cod mw2 for 20.00 and grid for 3.24 (inc quidco)

weird, maybe due to the price they had a small number....though you would have thought others on so far would have run out too, unless they had alot more keys

Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box is also a great deal @ £4.99. Costs 3x the price everywhere else!
#14
Got both Bioshock and Prey. Both are fantastic games. Prey especially, my expectations were low with it only costing £1.35, but gameplay is so original. The first time you walk on walls is mind boggling. If it comes back on sale, don't hesitate to get it, especially if it returns at the same price.

I would pay the little extra for the convenience of the game on the steam platform.

Possibly the best £3.50 anybody could ever spend.

Half way through playing BioShock now, got it when the Bioshock/Obvlivion deal was on for a £5.
Good game though a tad confusing at times. Voted hot.

I'm afraid I'm slightly backwards with the whole prey/bioshock thing. I loved Prey, I thought it was really creative and enjoyable and i'm happy to own it. Whereas I just couldn't get into Bioshock, it just didn't click. Then again, I must be the only person on the planet who was really dissappointed with Gears of War.

So while I think the deal is hot, I won't be buying this.

I think you just have a really rubbish taste in games mate. ;-)

Personally, I still believe Bioshock to be easily the best game of this generation and possibly the best game ever made.
#21
Both are brilliant games. Prey really pushed the boat out with game design, it had some huge originalities that were under-rated imo. I hesitated to get it because I had already completed it a few times but if it comes back on sale I'll be sure to get it.

Amazing game for me. Great story, amazingly detailed environment and a sense of terror. Manages to make you feel completely alone for the whole game.

Hot deal!

Got this on Steam about 18 months ago when it was about the same price. I love this game and although I have completed it on xbox 360 I am currently playing it again on my PC to see the alternative ending ( I think there are 3 in total)

Heat, Rep and recomended as a game and steam as a company.
#24
Loved Bioshock, the graphics, the story and the atmosphere all contributed well
#25
Twas the same price in last years sales :)
#26
Thanks OP. Download and played a little. Got stuck very early on. I love FPS but I'm not so good at them.

Well OK, but don't hold out for much, Bioshock is infamous for both it's equally awful endings! :whistling:
