Stunning price for the PS3 version, especially with the launch of the exclusive downloadable content which contains three all-new challenge rooms which are independent from the main storyline.

Gamers will experience areas previously unseen in the undersea world of Rapture and be able to win new Trophies upon beating the challenges.

Challenges include: 'A Shocking Turn of Events', in which a Little Sister is trapped at the top of a Ferris wheel and players much find a way to generate electricity to bring her to safety; 'The I in Team', where players attempt to defeat a Big Daddy with only a limited arsenal of weapons; and 'Worlds of Hurt', which pits gamers against eight rooms of Big Daddies, Splicers and other nasty creatures from Rapture.

I've been holding off getting this because like a lot of other people on here I've bought so many PS3 games at reduced price this past few weeks I really don't know where to start!

Anyway that's another one bought.

Voted hot!

I did show restraint at not buying Motorstorm PR, although I really wanted it especially after giving my copy of the first version away....just waiting for it to become cheaper.

I passed on that too, went for Pure instead. No doubt I'll get it when it goes cheaper - just finished all the levels & collectables on LBP today so that's one finished (barely started on the designing yet though).

Plus I rather stupidly decided to delete my saves for GTA:IV to get trophies when the patch came out. So that's yet another one added to my '10+ games left to even start playing as I bought them so cheaply because there are so many good deals lately' list!

Yeah I really want Tomb Raider as well (as it will remind me of when I was in Mexico & Cambodia although it is supposed to be Thailand in the game).
BUT I'm sure that Tomb Raider will get slated when it comes out so I'm looking to get it alot cheaper than the current prices.

I'm not quite sure that was helpful or really counts as a 'review' but it was bloody good.

My PS3 seems to do nothing but collect dust, even GTA4 didn't get me playing games again. The only game I've played through in the last 5 years is Uncharted: Drakes Fortune.

I've caved in however and bought it. Hopefully this will help me catch the bug again as I don't fancy wasting £25 on this and then another possible £25 on LittleBigPlanet.

Thats a bit sad, or not if you are getting out more
I finish nearly all of my PS3 games except for Assassin's Creed which had fantastic graphics but was soooo frustrating.
The Orange Box was very good so you could try that, plus if you liked Uncharted then Tomb Raider maybe a good bet.

Oh dear.

You can buy "Uncharted: Drake's Fortune" a lot cheaper than £25 now (especially as it has been re-issued on the "Platinum" series).

Still, at least you'll be looking forward to the next instalment in the franchise, most likely due out in 2009.

If you favour this kind of title, as well as the new Tomb Raider ("Underworld") game mentioned above (out this Friday in the UK), you might like to try the new "Prince of Persia" (out in the first week of December). The Jake Gyllenhaal movie "...The Sands of Time" will be released in May 2010, and hopefully will be suitably distanced from the game so that it doesn't damage sales! :)

PS. Avi Arad (founder of Marvel Studios, & producer of many of the Marvel Superhero movies) is working with a division of Sony to develop a movie based on the "Uncharted" game!

EDIT: And, of course, the "Tekken" movie will be with us soon too.

BFN,

fp.
