Customs duty may be charged on top of the headline price, usually on items costing more than £135 Information
OK, people questioned the value of the 360 Limited Edition I posted earlier, try this one: Play-Asia are stocking the Xbox 360 version of the standard BioShock game for approx £25 after currency conversion.
It's listed as a Japanese game but the lead programmer on the game, Chris Kline, said here in the official forums:
"The main version that supports EFIGS (english, french, italian, german, spanish) will be a worldwide release, so that version will run on machines worldwide."
There is more discussion ]here.
So the Play-Asia version will work on UK Xboxes just fine. I and my friends have used Play-Asia many times in the past and never incurred any taxes. They also ship pretty quickly in my experience, although it seems doubtful you would get the game launch day. If you are concerned about the language used in the manual etc they also list the US version for approx £29.

That includes delivery and is sent on release.
UK version too.
Hope that helps,

From the forum:
Seems plausible that it is region free then. Play Asia don't say that it is region free. But it is untested on the other regions, so that's probably why they have it as NTSC-J. They're playing it safe.
Though I preordered from Gameplay an age ago. I don't think I'll cancel as I'd like to play it on the release date, not a few days after ^_^
Could be a few weeks later :whistling:
But great price if your not in a rush, but pretty difficult after watching the trailer :w00t:

No it isn't, anyway you worried someone might make a few pence... good looking out :whistling:
I know gamestation wont accept it unless its region 2 on the box.
Ive ordered mine off play.com with a free faceplate for £39.99.
Seriously, this game is something special! very spooky, and atmospheric.
The graphics are even better than Gears of war!
You need this game!
I can confirm this and I was/am a bit of a Gears fanboy! Its so intense...
The Demo takes forever to download so not got it yet. I've pre-ordered it anyway.
Good chance this will be "Game of the Year", thats if Mass Effect isn't out this year.

If you want it before release day, go with Shopto, you will get the game Wednesday/Thursday.
Amazon is a bit hit and miss.
if not how good are thay at sending them out as i would like to have it on the 24th not after ???
That code doesn't appear to be valid now
use ZQ055 for £20 + FREE DELIVERY
Use XX276 for 10% DISCOUNT
That knocks roughly 50% off.
I think everyone knows the score with littlewoods voucher codes now, hit and miss - shows as full amount taken then refunded later etc etc etc.
Just thought i'd point it out

Am I right in thinking that this would inolve a credit check?
Not if you don't apply for an account.
But don't you have to apply for an account to take advantage of these codes?
I have played the demo and I think it will be better than Gears of War
