Decent enough deal, have some heat.
#2
Not COD but some more obscure variety!! Beware!!.

Yeah, its a nightmare trying to find Cod fish fingers, and even then a lot of them are nasty brown mucky things. I love a fishy finger, but have to have the simply cod birdseye ones now.

Cant beat a chippy though. (court case pending and all)

The worst thing was me and the missus been saying fish fingers never taste like how they used to when we were younger. Then we reliased that it might help by finding cod fish fingers first.

100% cod fish fingers all the way!

Innit, Cod tastes so much nicer... they're also so much more expensive :(
#7
Used to love Birdseye " Cod " fishfingers , till i tried Youngs " Haddock " fishfingers , without a doubt these are the nicest fishfingers we have ever tasted , so must vote this ad ( cold )
#8
Try ALDI & LIDL. They both sell very nice COD Fishfingers @ sensible prices.
#9
These are normally £1 at farmfoods or even at Asda as they have it on sale half the year. Tesco being the bigest should be able to charge all year round too.. So not really a deal. Buy from farmfoods insted!

Shock the nearest farmfoods to me is Barking by the time i've got there and spent petrol and everything and time it would be much easier and cheaper to go Tesco which is 0.1 miles from my house roughly.

I tried those Young's ones but the batter was way too salty for me.

I expect these are cheap because they aren't selling well and they aren't selling well because they aren't very good. "Omega 3" is a bit of a desperate description .....

Cod is generally more expensive and harder to find nowadays because the ocean's cod stocks are seriously depleted by too much overfishing. This will only get worse if people continue to buy so much of it, before their numbers can rise once more and recover to a sustainable population. Best to buy other species of fish that are less threatened at the moment, if you value cod and wish to be able to eat it in the future. Sad fact, but true.
