These are the extra large one's so each one is 160g each and there's 2 in the box so I think this is a really good deal.

Terrible quality Fish, sorry - for me
#2
Have had these a few times and always enjoyed.

What sort of fish is this? Trawler waste?
It doesn't say. There's some awful frozen foreign farmed fish about at the moment.

had these last night were nice,

Had these many times. Whilst it's not the highest quality fish you've ever tasted, it's still quite nice, and completely acceptable for frozen fish. Pollock is very similar to Cod, except its not as overfished.

What a load of Pollocks.

(I only eat cod)

Agree with tjchelsea, I got some of these and I only had one, it was so dire I binned the other. :-(

I normally love Birds Eye simply fish range...but after tasting these Extra Large fish ones after they were on offer, i must the say the quality of fish is very very poor compared to the COD ones

I had this last night and found it to be absolutely fine. OK, it's not cod, but it is not far from it.

Pollock is second rate fish - nowhere near as nice as cod.

Similar as in looks the same --- pity it tastes pretty awful. They probably buy this stuff for next to nothing then try to palm if ioff for the price of cod - it's probably not even worth the half price.

These are really bad....just had one for tea - disgusting!!!!

I gave it the cat (as i couldnt stomach it) and even she turned her nose up at it!! haha

it's a hot deal, but in my experience a lot of the birdseye fish is small, soggy instead of chunky, and tastes pretty gross. lol- I bought some any ways as an excuse for a cheap meal.
