We have one of these that was bought from Walmart for us when we bought our villa in Orlando. It is not very good quality. The suction out of the hose is like an asthmatic old lady.

For £40, its not a bad price, but you do get what you pay for with it.

Bought one of these at the w/end. Suction is very powerful, and for forty quid is well worth it,

how can a vacuum burn a carpet?

I bought one of these yesterday and it is really good. I was amazed how much cat hair it picked up and I vacuum usually about 5 times a day because of the mess the kids tread in.

Hi, I agree that initially this vacuum does give you a WOW feelng, but wihtin a couple of months you will find out that the machine is really crappy. I did give this vacuum three tries and was very very disappointed, as everytime the rotating brush broke down, luckily ASDA agreed to swap this vacuum for VAX . Will recommend go for VAX or anyother decent vacuum manufacturer.

I've had 3 bissell hoovers and cannot fault any of them - very powerful, excellent performance - and they only "burn" your carpet if you leave them on the wrong setting whilst using the hand tools - it warns you of this in the manual. I'd never buy anything other than a bissell.

Doesn't say how many "air watts" it has - I conclude you're buying an expensive noisy fan heater.

I decided to buy a bag type vac and chose the Panasonic MC-E3002WP47. Delivered yesterday. Seems great so far. I bet you will never guess who is the cheapest in the uk for this one.....
John Lewis. £59.95 delivered.

utter rubbish, don't buy it.

Its £49.97 at asda again. I got one but im yet to try it. Looks pretty smart and robust. Nice and light weight, possibly the one to go for if buying for an elderly person. i know my own grandfather hates the weight of his dyson and bought a panasonic bagged ( possibly the same as the one from john lewis in the previous post). But who wants bags these days? and it looks like something from the mid 1990s. For this price you cant go wrong, you can always take it back.

Moved in new house a week a go after having brand new carpets down. I was told to wait till carpets had been in 4 days so i hoovered today and using the bissell easyvac was a mistake it just put 3 holes in my stairs carpet. upon close examination it had melted the carpet right down to the underlay. I checked the underside where the belt goes and the plastic was red hot. only had the machine 6 months.

The Bissell easyvac only has 1 setting and as i found out my new 1 week old new carpet got burnt right to the underlay.
