We have the Bissell Lift off, and its a great machine, so hopefully this would be of similar standard. Worth trying for the price I'd say.

Ordered one of these a while back but found it too heavy - it's a beast.

Blokes will probably be ok with it but let's face it, they won't be the ones using it will they?

now, we've got one of these - it's a refurb and has lasted us about two years - however the previous one only lasted a month (which they replaced).

The one we have now has just given up the ghost though - total power loss, tried everything and think the motor's just had it. Our general concensus is that for the price you can't go any better - though be prepared to have a bit of a fight on your hands if it does go wrong as unless you complain bissell can be, let's say tardy with replacements of refurbs - we had to email a complaint after waiting a month for a replacement.

It's not as good as say a dyson animal (which my mum brought over to prove that it wasn't... and it isn't, darn you and your cleaning experience mum) - but then again it IS a fraction of the price.

So yeah, hot from me!

distance selling regulations
it allows people to return items bought online (along with in store return policies) which they later change their mind about for what ever reason. in most cases there is nothing other than packaging if anything at all to "refurb" but the sellers cant then sell them as new again so have to sell as a "refurb"

If parts do go in warranty then the manufacturers may just replace the item, then repair the item and resell

Good find especially with code, ordered for my Mum who is in need of a new upright - only concern is it might be a little too heavy in which case i'll have it as a spare. Cheers op.

They're automatic (no gear shifting required) :)
#36
expired none left :s

Had one and in my opinion they are very very poor.

Suction was appalling.

I may have had a duff one though, and you cant be robbed at this price.
#38
Going by the other thread when they were last ££39.99 I wouldn't be expecting them anytime soon!
