I tried a set of these. I took them back because they were ugly but also because the shapes were all wonky......

Which ones, Argos or Ikea?

I didn't like the Argos ones - most of them looked like they had been made by Demi More in the movie Ghost

Big of a bummer having to go instore to pick them up though - so not much use if you don't have a car.
Nice deal though ... Voted Hot.

I brought these for someone last year as a cheap and cheerful gift - the mugs and bowls are massive, the bowls could actually double up as a swimming pool they are that big!

Cheap and cheerful, but serve a purpose!

Can't stand this stoneware stuff - much prefer porcelain.

I bought the similar stoneware set for a fiver from wilkinsonplus last month but the quality is not good at all!!
What to expect of a fiver these days when you look at it though.

The set i bought from argos was ok, part from it chipping easily and the cups being a tad wonky, but for £10 cant complain really, get what you pay for etc

what is that got to do with the post at all? similar but isnt the set thats been posted about

i have this set and agree with ellios, the bowls n cups r massive, excellent for cereal, coffee, hot chocolate etc...and i would pay 13 quid jus for them, yes maybe a bit wonky but i never actually noticed before i read this post

and it works out jus over 40p per piece (includin free set)...so cant complain
