Great software. Worth every penny and more

There's a few very good free security packages out there. Why anyone would pay for a home use is beyond me so cold.

True but they may not be as good at threat detection though.

There are very few (zero) good, free security packages out there. Why anyone wouldn't pay £9.49 for the best AntiVirus software available is beyond me so hot.

I wouldn't trust any review site that has options to buy through.

If you don't think there's adequate free alternatives then that's fine.

cos MSE spies on you. its in the T&C that you agree to, part of their prog called SPYNET.
if Microsoft did their job properly, no one would need MSE, Bitdefender, Kaspersky etc etc.

And Google, Yahoo, Facebook etc, etc, don't.

I suppose that you are going to tell me you don't get viruses on Apple computers next?

If you tick the correct box when you install MSE nothing is reported to M$ so just tick the correct box.
