I buy the Lidl par side drill which seems to last a few years or until the battery gives up the ghost!

Heat added for a reasonably priced branded drill
Not bad, I had a 12v B&D combi drill similar to this which cost £75 about ten years ago. It had plenty of torque and the battery would last long enough to complete most jobs, untill recently when the battery died and would no longer hold a charge.
The thing is with nicad batteries is that can happen suddenly at any time but this is cheap enough to take a chance and if its like my old one it'll probably be good for years.
Have some heat.
Price back up.
