Found it this morning in Tesco extra Pontypridd. Still shows £50 in Tesco Direct, so I appreciate it could be store specific deal, great price though.

Some description from Tesco website:

The Black & Decker GT4245 420W hedge trimmer is a versatile, durable and easy-to-use tool ideal for the efficient trimming of bushes, smaller hedges and small tree branches. Featuring a powerful 420W motor and kitted with a 45cm long blade, this hedge trimmer makes light work of most trimming tasks. It can also cut small branches up to 16mm diameter.

Thanks to its balanced design and weight of 2.1kg, you can use it comfortably and continuously for long period of time with a minimal impact on your arms, shoulders or back. Its weight is distributed evenly between the blade and handle for improved balance and sense of security, especially on a vertical cutting line because a higher proportion of hedge cutting occurs on the vertical rather than the horizontal surface.

The GT4550 is a fitted with sharp, metallic, dual-action asymmetric blades to reduce vibration and give an optimal result every time. It is fitted with a smart, two-handed safe-start switch to prevent accidental starting and there is a large protective guard to shield the end user from flying debris. The GT4245 features a simple, built-in cable management system to ensure the delivery of safe, continuous power.

The product comes with 2-year guarantee.

I'd try to post receipt in the first comment

If the woman in your life uses this to trim her hedge, you may want to buy a lifetime subscription for Veet. oO

Half a dozen left in Newport, Harlech retail park. Managed to get the last 500w one with a 55cm blade for £16. Have some heat!

The effort that went into a store specific post, it beggars belief the lengths people go to for some kind of approval. Here have some heat to stop posting this junk

Bored to death of people posting stuff that is store specific, so about 3 people in the country at most could actually get it, yet the lemmings all vote hot

Not sure...

Certainly work a crack at trying to snatch one of these when it comes to gash maintenance

Could easily store it safely in a flange
