My first deal!

Seemed like a good price to me...

I think it only comes with one double ended bit, if you need more I'm pretty sure these can be bought from poundland, or other stores like that!

It's just a generic Chinese make so you cant compare it to the B and D one.

Exactly my point, Littlewoods arent selling a lithium Black & Decker for £10! The casing/form factor looks very similar to the cheap unknown brand screwdrivers (i.e. tat) sold in B&Q

The tat @ very also has no rotational handle adjustment, but apart from that it is similar in the fact that its a screwdriver !:whistling:

Love to see a link to the Asda one mentioned as there is no sign of such a bargain on their website...

I never said it was a B+D one at Littlewoods, maybe you should read the post again

How is it even relevant then?

It isn't like for like...

Some people may prefer a lithium one over the old technology as they dont go flat when in storage like they normally do

Ive received mine from Very, came to £8 with 20% off codes, includes 5 double ended bits, led torch on the front and battery indicator & a case that you can attatch to your belt , seems just as powerful as my old B+D one its replacing.

You seem to missed the point, as pointed out by manbearpig, this is a deal on a pivoting handle screwdriver.
Its like you suggesting that people buy a Skoda on an Audi car deal becuase its cheaper but still has doors and drives from a to b...

Unless your old B+D screwdriver was a PLR36NC in which case it might be worth saying so?

Just because its B+D dosent mean its better in my eyes, lithium vs nicad there is no competition is there, you can see if it needs charging and the battery dosent go flat when its in the garage, nothing worse than getting a screwdriver or drill and the battery is flat and you have to wait for it to charge before you use it.

Anyhoo people go for what they want, its was just a heads up incase they prefered lithium over nicad

Expired as the price is now higher
Grreat spot at the lower price though
