Save a total of £29.99 when bought together.

Nintendo DS Lite - Black
Nintendo DS Lite is a lighter and brighter version of the highly successful Nintendo DS, Nintendo's latest console includes all the existing features of the Nintendo DS, yet includes a variety of distinctive changes which truly sets it apart from other handheld consoles.
Nintendo DS Lite retains the advanced touch screen technology, allowing players to control the software with a stylus or even their finger, as well as dual screens, voice recognition and Wi-Fi capabilities of the Nintendo DS but is now both smaller and lighter. Weighing nearly 60g less than the original, it is just two thirds of the original size. The redesign isn't only cosmetic though, the Nintendo DS Lite features adjustable screen brightness with four settings, a repositioned microphone for ease of use and a larger and more comfortable stylus. With its new design and unique features, this console is perfect for everyone regardless of age, gender and gaming skills.

Features:

Its two bright screens can be adjusted to four levels to adapt to different lighting conditions and to extend battery power.
The microphone sits in the center of the unit, and the LED lights are clearly visible whether the unit is open or closed.
The stylus is 1 centimeter longer and 1 millimeter thicker than the stylus of the original, and slides into a side storage slot.
The Start and Select buttons were repositioned for easier access.
A removable cover keeps the Game Boy Advance cartridge slot clear from dust and debris when it's not in use.

Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End
Live and die by the sword! Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End is inspired by the events, environments and characters surrounding the second and third installments of the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. Players must demonstrate their cunning, swashbuckling creativity and swordsmanship as they encounter all manner of crazed pirates and cursed creatures in treacherous, exotic locations. Play as the eccentric Captain Jack Sparrow, Will Turner and Elizabeth Swann to prevent Jacks dark past from catching up with him.
Enjoy sword-assisted acrobatics, adaptive combat and classical dueling in unique gameplay. Experience the Pirates of the Caribbean world in never-before-seen detail, going beyond the films events and storylines to introduce new locations, an extended story, legendary pirates and a unique ending.

Features:

16 levels of 3-D chaotic action plus 10 duelling boss encounters
Touch screen duelling - Slash, parry and dodge using strokes from the DS stylus that represent sword moves
Focus on adventuring and platforming mechanics - Obstacles such as flaming geysers, collapsing bridges and bottomless pits must be overcome with dexterity, timing and maybe even a grappling hook
Globe-spanning gameplay - adventuring and acrobatic platforming, combat, duelling, and mini-games in exotic locations
Puzzle solving - Numerous obstructions require using a toolset of collected pirate themed items
Wireless multiplayer:
Duelling - Real-time touch screen sword combat for two players
Liars Dice - Re-live the famous game-of-chance from the film single download (only one game cartridge required) for up to four players
Robust Camera experience with "look ahead" feature gives player best view of environment and action.

*****************

This has just changed price online, you basically get the game free as the RRP of the DS is £99.99. Thought it was a good deal, especially as the game is a good game as opposed to the poor games you often get bundled with consoles.

Don't forget Quidco, Free Delivery. I think there is also a £5 off voucher available making the item £94.99?

Use £5 off voucher to make price £94.99 instead. Bargain!

Remember if you buy this package and don't want the game that comes with it just take it back to Game and they will refund you £29.99 so you end up getting your DS even cheaper

Don't they get very unhelpful if you do that?

the member of staff said nothing when I took my Game back but I waited about 2 weeks to return the game for a refund as I made sure it was within the 28 day refund policy

They should not say anything as it clearly states on the receipt that you can return any item for an exchange or full refund within 28 days of purchase as long as the item is returned sealed

Why hasn't this been supported that well? Can you get it cheaper elsewhere that I've missed?
#5
Cheapest I have seen especially if you get a refund for the game
#6
Looks like you can get Pink and White ones with Nintendogs for the same price too...

I think people may be put off by the potential hassle of returning the (crap) game.

If you keep the seals intact then they can't refuse AFAIK.

I got my DS Lite on launch day last June, in addition to the two games I actually wanted, I was offered a discount if I also took the unwanted three game bundle (all of them rubbish), so took em back a few days later, got my refund (at bundle value, not RRP) and ended up with a final price that I never saw bettered.

I even confirmed with the guy that I could do this, and said that I would after 'evaluating' them (this was before GAME changed it's unsealed games policy). The only difference now is that you can't play the game, definitely not a problem in this instance :-D

Yeah maybe not......

I work at game, and i can clearly say that if you turn up with your web-order receipt any Sale Assitant with common sense will not do this. The game was purchased as part of the bundle. IF they do put it through they should of told you that if you ever try to return your DS for a refund you will be required to return POTC with it.

Yeah but as you didnt actually pay for the game it has legally no monetery value. You didn't pay for it, so have no right to return it for the RRP, only the bundle price i.e FREE

On the Positive note, DS games bundled in are usually worth alot when traded it, POTC is worth £18 in store, so you could use that to pick up anything.

Saw the Nintendo Ds Lite for £93.99 delivered on BestPricedBrands earlier today, available in White/Pink/Black, as to whether thats a good price I dunno, core unit only.

Should have mentioned that I purchased instore and not online

Maybe it's the member of staff's fault that gave me a full refund on the game as he just looked on the receipt and it said £29.99 next to the game, he made no atempt to get out of giving the refund

I returned the game as it clearly said on the receipt 28 day refund policy on items in original condition, if I should not be allowed to get the full price refunded on something from a bundle it should be on the receipt or some sort of signage in store.

End of the day makes up for the money I have spent in Game over the years

That's a great price, and also a good excuse for me to sign up for Google Checkout. Thanks.
