Seems an ok deal, but the games are a bit rubbish, unless the DS is for a little kid. They are the 'Let's Play' games.

am after a DS lite in white at this price, most places are out of stock :(
#3
Shame it's only the black one, I need a pink.

The lets play games are not for little kids! Unless the little kids are really good at reading!!!

Sorry, but I presumed Lets Play Fireman, Lets Play Schools, Let's Play Hospital etc were for little kids?

My 15 year old would laugh at me if I bought her those, lol.

Still a decent enough deal, you can sell the games on, or give them as presents if you don't need/want them.

What are peoples views on giving these to their children.

I have a 6 year old daughter and bought one of these a while ago when they were £75 at Tesco. Got the DSTT card and everything and games thinking I would play with it but never really got into it (other than GTA chinatown). Still looks brand new. Have hidden it from kids and only played it when kids in bed.

I guess what I am asking is are these any good for children - it breaks my heart when I see my 3 year old playing on his vtec camera kidizoom thingy for ages and have to take the batteries out and pretend they have worn out.

I guess they could be used educationally and I know its an old discussion but should I give it to her for christmas.:?

I don't think they can do any harm in moderation.

Nah man, most people wanna play games and wanna pay the bare minimum - tada! DS Lite

Thats like saying why do people want the 360 Arcade when they can get an Elite?

...Who would want an arcade
