All my friends and myself stopped playing the wii after 1month of buying it. Its all kiddie games on there. If you're over 16 I recommend getting an Xbox or ps3 instead of this

The Wii is a waste of money for "normal" gamers, or the core gaming community. There's a few select Nintendo-developed games (e.g. Mario Galaxy/Bros, Goldeneye) that are fun, but they don't last long and are nowhere near as good as the big budget AAA titles produced for the PS3/Xbox.

As a party console for local multiplayer games however, I'd say it's definitely better than the Kinect and Move equivalents for the PS3/Xbox, although be prepared to pay through the nose for the additional controllers/nunchucks (3 Wii remotes + 3 nunchucks will set you back what, £120? Shocking really to have to pay that much extra for a console that is basically heavily marketed as being a multi-user/party machine).

Agree ( PS I love Mario galaxy ) I used to play Mario games on those big game cassettes on Nintendo Good old days

The Wii is a waste of time and they are getting rid of it now ready for the new HD Wii 2 which will be released at a later date. If you want a really good piece of kit which will get lots of use by adults and children get the kinect as its worth every penny. My kids had the Wii and stopped using it after about a weeks use.

None in Stafford Extra.

Anyone any success in the midlands?

Looking for a major birthday present for some who is not into computer games of any sort but is into keeping moderately fit and has been 21 again for quite a number of years.

Given those parameters, what do you folk think of this bundle please?

Very very good price.
I paid £199 for the same package @ Game just before xmas.
