Yeah, theres less games and its 2 and 1/2 times the price. Personally I think you're paying for the extras myself

I've got both but I only use the PS3 for media

got a question for xbox owners.

I saw a friend who plugged his 360 and home pc into his router by network cables and was streaming media from the pc to the 360.

My pc is at the other end of the house, so only has a wireless card.
but If I got a 360 I could have it plugged into the wireless router because it's near the phone socket.

if thats the case, can you still stream the media from the (wireless) pc into the (wired) xbox ???

can someone suggest a N wireless router to go with the wireless adapter
#13
if my internet is only 2ghz is it worth getting an n adaptor and router?
#14
This is a nice price for the new faster 'n' spec wi-fi unit

My own experience is that I had the older lower spec Xbox wireless & it was perfectly ok but I switched to the power-point plug networking set-up.
Sold my old wi-fi adaptor & haven't looked back.
I reckon it's faster & more reliable.

yup, thats what i do in my house, cept both the xbox and pc are wireless!

on another note, tbh dont really see the need to upgrade to this if you already have a G type adapter, as it wont benefit unless you have an N type router, and even then i think it would only be good for streaming high bitrate media; which with a G type would jus take a bit more time to buffer, if it would need to at all. (not sure on the speeds required when streaming etc, but if you can stream youtube HD on a G wireless, im sure streaming HD to xbox is perfectly fine on the G adapter) and if you think it would benefit gaming, I doubt it, as the limiting factor would be your internet speed not your wireless speed!

but naturally if you have an elite, it looks better having a black adapter :P my white one is hidden fortunately so it doesnt ruin the image on mine xD

Saw them in my local Sainburys today at £35. It wasn't a superstore either.

WTF! What would be the logic of paying £7 more to buy it in-store than it is on-line?

Can anyone confirm whether the range on the new adapter is any better? My sons bedroom is up in the loft and he's recently found he's having problems with lag and xbox live disconnecting. The router is on the ground floor. I've seen some reviews that suggest the new adapter has increased range. Any views please???
