Would I be right in presuming this is unlocked to any network? Couldn't see anything on the Pixmania site.

Is this sim free and 3g, could a 3 sim be used in it?
banned#9
afaik its not 3g, edge is fastest if its the same as the one i had for work

Unexpired

GPRS > EDGE > 3G > HSDPA (Enhanced form of 3G)

So 3G is faster than Edge, although I've never noticed 3G being remotely fast as I'm on O2 and they don't do fast anything.

I have just been on fleabay and cannot find any sub £100 !!! in fact the cheaper ones are about the same price, with the newer ones costing more.
I would also like to know if it is unlocked as well?

If you take a close look at the phones picture on pixmania, it has an 02 sign on it. so i think it is 02.

Sweet phone...I have on for work. Email v good and keyboard slick, but the Nokia e63 (my personal phone) beats it on everything else...
#15
It doesn't have WIFI though does it? Would probably have gone for it otherwise.

Hi, I have just looked on the Pixmania website but can not see it in stock, has it now gone out of stock or am I looking in the wrong place?
#17
these have been updated now haven't they? the latest model has wifi i think, and other improvements, 3.2mp camera etc.

i'm still on an original 8100!

This. Is. Cheap.

I'm not voting either way, but seeing this posting made me smile in sort-of a smug way, since I bought myself a second-hand SPV M2000 (or HTC Blue Angel, to use its manufacturer-given name) yesterday, which comes with -

Faster CPU (400MHz rather than a 312MHz Intel Xscale CPU)
Double the RAM (128MB rather than 64MB)
A much bigger screen (3.5" instead of 2.5")
A slide-out QWERTY keyboard
802.11b wireless (instead of no wireless at all)
Windows Mobile 6, upgradeable to 6.5 thanks to the people at XDA Developers

And all for just £25.

I love Gumtree.

Is this price still alive???? I couldn't find this iteam on Pixmania????
CAn you please help me???

as a phone these are terrible.... I am a self confessed phone geek and IMHO as an email tool its ace, bordering on best in the market( I have one as a work tool) but as a phone/SMS/web access tool etc its absolutely rubbish. its unintuitive, the camera is rubbish, the browser horrendeous, etc. I could never recommend one of these as a personal mobile for anyone unless your life is purely email based.

a 3 year old N95 will beat this in everything except email.....

If you look on ebay at completed items, these are generally selling for around the £80 mark
