Possibly the worst company ever. My wifes contract expires on the 10th April, she phoned to give the mandatory 30 days notice and had to tell them 26 times that she didn't want it anymore!! Unbelievable (she got the HTC deal I previously posted with T-Mobile).

I bought this phone on the same deal. the deal is good compared to most companies but the phone itself isn't worth buying. good for texting but bad for everything else. software is slow and unresponsive and the internet seems very slow for a phone quoted to support 7.2mbps download - my nokia 5800 is much faster and the images are much clearer

Either you are mistaken about the phone model, (possible you are referring to curve 8520 which does look very similar) or you have a faulty phone. As the bold 9700 is an amazing phone. Very fast internet so long as you are on a 3G connection, blazingly fast operating system. Handles all tasks very well. The sharpness of the screen is second to none. All reviews of the phone echo this.

Easily the best Blackberry out at the moment.

To op, deal is hot, but not sure about network operator.

I have blackberry and to be honest, the firmware provided by the UK carriers are terrible and usually 4-5 generations behind e.g. the most recently available one. If you feel brave, check out crackberry fforums for information on the relevant bb model and how to upgrade the firmware to the most recent.
It is a hassle and it's quite important to backup everything before hand then carry out the update process.
it bought a new lease of life for my BB 9000 and mates BB 8900.
