Decent price for a great phone. Most CPW phones are unlocked, so hopefully this is too.

The BlackBerry Curve 8520 is an affordable, user-friendly smartphone designed with users in mind. It's slim, light and the littlest member of the BlackBerry Curve family.

Designed to keep you connected, the Curve 8520 has a comfortable QWERTY keyboard and push email for the speedy sending of messages.

The trackpad navigation system is a new feature to BlackBerry mobile phones and works like a laptop mouse for easier menu scrolling and internet browsing.

The Curve is a great handset for social networking and comes with instant access to Facebook, Twitter, MySpace and Windows Live Messenger. You can even link a friend's phonebook contact details to their Facebook profile and download any images they post onto your mobile phone.

The Curve 8520 works well as an MP3 player thanks to a 3.5mm jack for headphones and dedicated media keys on top of the device. You can skip, pause or repeat tracks while your phone is in your pocket.

The BlackBerry Curve 8520 is compatible with microSD memory cards up to 16GB in size so you don't have to worry about storage for music and media.

Available in black and violet.

BlackBerry's Easy Media Sharing service is also great for uploading pictures you've taken with the 2 Megapixel camera straight to Facebook, MySpace and Flickr.

This is a feature-rich smartphone that's not just for business users. It will help you connect with friends, browse the web and manage your day-to-day life. There's hundreds of ways to personalise your 8520 Curve with BlackBerry App World.

Insomniacs, skiving night shift workers and the like always seem to vote cold - or so it seems to me,veteran insomniac that I am.
I don't want one of these, but the deal seems hot,so I voted it so.
I feel that in the wee early hours this will slide into obscurity -

Thanks for your hot vote. It's a shame this deal isn't seen as hot, since I believe it very much is - this is the best price for this phone.

plus £20 airtime.

it says £10 on the site, e2save make you get £20 however so I see where the confusion comes from.

Orange have it for 179 plus 20 quid topup... Then quidco pay 30 pound on this. SO overall it works out at £169 inc 20 quid of credit!! A better deal in my opinion!!

But orange lock their phones. The likelihood is that this one is unlocked.

Question - if this is unlocked, can I just put my Tmobile unlimited data sim into this Blackberry and receive emails, or do you have to subscribe to a blackberry service with tmobile?

Cheers

Think I may have answer my own question with a bit of digging on the T-mobile site. Looks like I would have to pay £10.62 a month on top of my existing plan to get Blackberry email - not worth it IMO for the quantity of emails I get.

I think im going to purchase this and sell my 8320. Great on orange as i can just put my orange contract sim inside and carry on with my cheap contract.
