This deal may not be for all but I have just gone for it as I was after a new deal.

If you follow the link it will take you to the page for the phone. Make sure it is on Orange and then click on Show All (you must click show all). Then about half way down the page you will see this particular offer;

* Refurbished Blackberry 8520
* 400 Minutes
* Unlimited Text
* Push Email (i.e. blackberry service which I have been told is unlimited)
*250mb Data (which is not a lot but Orange as standard offer 500mb so you may be able to claim it or can use Wifi).

You can select your 'Free Gift' and one of the options is 21 months line rental free by cashback (you have to claim). This works out as a whopping £546 money back. You can select other items but this is the best.

I have used mobiles.co.uk before and getting the cashback is easy. I just emailed them asking for the exact months they wanted me to send in my bills (working it out yourself is a bit confusing). I kept their response and then when required you can send a PDF copy of your bill to them via their website. Then a week or so later you get a cheque back with some of the cashback. I think on my last 24 month contract I had to do this about 6-8 times over the 2 years.

I know this deal is not for all and it has some problems. Firstly it is with Orange and for 24 months. You only get 256mb of data which for a lot is not enough. Plus you have to claim the cashback.

It is not worth £26 pound a month but with the cashback it works out at £3.25 which seems very good to me. The phone itself is selling for between £70-£100 on ebay so if you were to sell it an claim the cashback you could actually make some money from it. Add to this Magic numbers and Orange Wednesdays and it seems too good to be true.

With mobiles.co.uk you also get next day delivery on your phone so mine should be with me today sometime.

Hope somebody finds this deal useful :)

    this phone would not even last the whole contract... Pony deal

    The phone would come with a 2 year warranty anyway (as with all electrical goods). And as I said you could sell the phone on ebay and you would be in credit after cashback. You could then buy something else if needed.

    2 year warranty as with all electrical goods? And who provides this?

    Mobiles.co.uk will or you can go to carphone warehouse (their sister company) who deal with repairs/replacements. All electronic goods come with a 2 year warranty that the retailer has to abide to so even things that say 1 year have 2 years.

    I cant see why so many cold votes. Basically you are getting 400mins, unlimited text, 256mb data and push email for free (as you get the phone). I am yet to have seen a deal netter than this.

    You seem to have a complete lack of understanding of the sales of goods act. You have 6 MONTHS to take an item back to a store if it develops a fault, after that the retailer can choose whether to replace / repair / refund etc. After 6 months, you have to prove to the retailer that there is a fault.

    Indeed that is true, however if the item was faulty and you can prove it, it is up to the retailer to prove that the item was not designed to last for over two years. I doubt any company could argue that an item them sell you should not last for up to 2 years.

    Do people honestly not find this a good deal. Show me somewhere else where you can get all this for nothing.

    Sell the phone and claim cashback and you could easily be up £50 and don't ever need to use the minutes or texts. Just throw the SIM in the bin.

    Am I totally missing something here. I have seen lots of sim only deals on here with less and no phone for £7pm and people rave about them.
