Hope this is the first posting, but the best deal around at the moment, if you are a Virgin Media customer, otherwise now £12 a month

"If you are a Virgin Media customer you can get the BlackBerry Curve 8520 for just £10 a month instead of £12 a month, just to show how much we appreciate you."

Not bad.

can you fib?

Nice one dude.

Just ordered one for the missus. Delivered tomorrow.
#4
Good deal - however 24 mth contract is a little offputting!

No, I can't. Er, hang on a minute, aparently I can. I'm going to try some more.... 'Virgin Media Customer service is great!' Crickey, this lying stuff is easy.
#6
Getting mine tomorrow. £4.99 delivery as well. Still a complete bargain.
#7
a very good deal

is there quidco as well?
#8
Had a Virgin mobile for 11 months now (Sony Ericksson C902). Phones good but coverage awful. Lots of "emergency calls only" areas. Calls keep dropping out when connected to car bluetooth and on the move. Tried chip in other phones but no better. Contract runs out soon and no way will I renew.
#9
£30 quidco as well
#10
This is a great deal even for 12/month.

If someone in my household pays for Virgin Broadband/TV (not me) can I still get the deal for 10/month?
#11
plus students get 15% off of this too! i'm tempted

Yes, but the Blackberry Internet Service (ultd email/internet) alone cannot be found cheaper than £5 a month on any network.

So £5 extra a month (£120 over the whole contract) gets you a free phone, some included minutes and a medium amount of texts.

Very good deal.

Just to let you know, I ordered a Virgin mobile phone via quidco for the £30 cashback back in January, it didn't validate, after lots of calling and up and down hassle, got it validated months later in July but till today has never been credited. I can't speak for others, but in my experience, they don't seem to co-operate well with quidco, so be cautious!

If anyone wants to order one im more than happy to do it for you hehe. I work for them so I would be gratefull of the comission lol
#18
Sorry had to vote cold as Virgin Mobile are absolute dogshit!

My missus was stuck on an 18 month contract with them (we moved her from O2 pay & go) to an offer that seemed decent for her which value wise was, however reception was bad, dropped calls or no signal / emergency only so the minute it was due to finish it was lashed and the phone sold to Mazuma!!!

She is now back and happy on O2 sim only which for £10 a month 300 mins / unlimited texts / free O2 to O2 calls is a bargain. Just buy a decent PAYG phone and throw O2 sim in!

Avoid Virgin Mobile at all costs regardless of the phones they offer!

What's in it for me then ?

Looks like students can get a further 15% off if they have an NUS Extra card. Wonder if this works for current Virgin Mobile contract customers?

I work for virgin mobile too and as long as the household has Virgin media you will get this

My OH got his discount even if the VM account is only on my name. I have had Virgin Mobile for a few years and they have been good (maybe it is only luck). But customer services have always been a bit rubbish.

Have you used the internet on a blackberry? you got to be kidding me... i wouldn't pay £2.00 for that speed and lack of everything!
#27
anyone know if you can transfer a number from the Liberty SIM package to this? Waited 40 mins with no reply to try and find this out, I'd like to go for it but can't face the hassle of a new number!
#28
isn't virgin mobile just a piggy back of the t-mobile network so should only get the same coverage?

Virgin use T-mobile's network and soon T-mobile will be sharing their network with O2.
I have both T-mobile and Virgin mobile sims and have never had any issues regards signal
Maybe you had a duff phone.

I'm on the £8.50 deal which is more than adequate for me but am quite tempted by the LG Viewty Snap cos of the 5mp camera. But if you ring the sales crew you won't get the £30 cashback on Quidco or will you?
#33
does anybody know if you can do free skype-to-skype calls on this? cheers
#34
remember people, £10 if your a customer, quidco £30, nus student discout 15% becomes £8.50 per month and a total of £174 for the two years, the phone alone costs £149.99 and blackberry messenger is normally £5 per month but comes free with the package. HOTTT!

Would I get it for £10 a month? I would realy only do it if I do get that price. PM me if your serious
#39
What? A whole 50 mins? EVERY month?
wow!

Good if you like emailing. Not so good if you like talking.

Picked this phone up at the weekend from virgin media in Watford. It's exactly what I was looking for as I was previously on PAYG and only spending between £5-10 each month on calls and texts.

Compared to my LG viewty the phone is awesome and web surfing is really fast over my home Wi-fi and the music player seems decent enough, although adding new apps like a media player is easy enough to do.

Have yet to take the phone and and about to really test it, but on first impressions I'm really pleased. If you're a heavy talk and texter this phone package probably isn't for you,
