Awesome deal, got one of these babies from Orange on my £7.50 a month contract, UMA allows a signal over wifi where no network signal exists, Orange are offically the only UK network to support such but Voda used to have UMA active for a MVNO it had - BT Mobile, the UMA feature used to work with wifi/Voda, hardware at Voda may still exist so no need for Voda SureSignal if UMA still works @ Voda

It has vodafone software inside, but there are no vodafone brandings on the case. Well atleast mine didn't.

Great phone, i got mines from Argos thru an online not catlagoue price few weeks ago for £134.99
Unlocked it from Vodafone and now happily use my O2 Sim
The only Vodafone branding is when you power on it says Vodafone, other wise its generic as it can get
I've also downlaod OS6 (yet to be released by an UK provider on this phone) and it changes the the phone for the better

Check out forums like crackberry.com (hopefully ok to post that)
and something called BBSAK that will help you find a special code that you can email http://www.freemyblackberry.com and they will give you a unlock code for free so you save yourself £20 for not calling Voda for a unlock code
