Blackberry Sim Only £10 per month on O2 (Was £17.50) 12 month contract

300 anytime minutes
Unlimited texts
Blackberry, Wifi and data included

Possible £25 cashback through Quidco

--------------

It seems like there's a few users not familiar with the term "sim only". This deal is just for the monthly contract sim card to put into your existing Blackerry handset, or one you are about to buy. This deal does not come with a handset.

Can you use a non blackberry with this deal? This would suit me perfectly with my Nokia 5230.

Is there a difference between normal data and Blackberry data? Could i use my Nokia E51?
#6
No you can't use this with a normal handset as it runs through blackberry APN rather than the usual one. You'll get charged.
#7

Do a search on fleabay.I just had 2 BB 8520 unlocked for 99p each
#11
Does this mean free internet?
#12
Thanks for pointing out that they are now giving the web bolt on with the £15pm packages but other than that, due to the low cashback amount, the deal is somewhat COLD.
#13
The comma in "Blackberry, Wifi and data included" is a bit misleading. Maybe you meant to say "Blackberry Wifi and data included" or just "Wifi and data included"

For a minute there, I thought this included the actual Blackberry handset. And on the O2 site, when you click on the link to learn more about Blackberry, it tells you about the 9700, which retails for over £350, which would have made this the deal of the century.

They usually let third parties call you to ask you to sign up to their offers. I have called O2 customer retention to say I am leaving now unless you offer me something pretty amazing. Amazing deal offered for 12 months

If anyone could answer this question, I'd really appreciate it:

Does the unlimited internet include Blackberry chat/email? I remember on my last contract with a Blackberry I had to pay £5 extra for these Blackberry services.

Thanks :)

It does indeed.

I'm currently on the 300mins one and I'm paying the old price of £22.50!

I need to call ASAP to get them to transfer me to the new prices!

If Blackberry data (BIS) is included then you should have all the BB services available (Email/bb Messenger).

But using data outside of the BB service/applications (ie 3th party browsers) will result in a data charge.

Wait a minute, are you sure? I just read you need a Blackberry Booster or something?
#35
Hot deal!

Might seem off topic - i signed up yesterday over phone, the guy said something along the lines of

"If you visit and watch streaming websites, you will be charged extra"

anyone know anything about this? Care to elaborate? There are BB apps that are like youtube...so using them would incur extra costs in addition to my bb unlimited package?

Read the description on the site:

Includes unlimited BlackBerry data and Wi-Fi
Plus unlimited BlackBerry push email
Great for accessing your mail and surfing the web

I have this tariff, but I'm paying the old rates, and I've accessed youtube and other data intensive sites at no extra cost. If in doubt, give them a call :)

this is a great deal, shame my current contract isn't up until december

Hi Guys.
This is to inform you that unlimited on blackberry means 200mb. This 200 mb limit is for 3rd party applications like youtube, internet surfing and other applications. True unlimited applies for emails and bb messenger.

People who are on other £10 deal getting unlimited landlines I am not sure weather O2 will agree to change your bolt on from landlines to bb data plan but still it's worth a shot.

*Fair usage policy - 200MB a month applies. Your monthly Line Rental Charge excludes excludes O2 Mobile Web browsing which is used to browse the Internet on some on non RIM manufactured (BlackBerry Connect™) devices and also applies if you use your BlackBerry enabled SIM as a modem.
