easy tiger, the buffoons freeze everything round here to start with, don't worry if it's a good deal it will soon heat up.

Voted hot.

Trouble is at this time of the year it's always raining lol and the illuminations have finished.
[mod]#6

BLACKPOOL PLEASURE BEACH £10

I offered to buy it for a fiver but they wouldnt take it.

I can understand them only opening at weekends this time of year but the opening hours are only 12pm to 5pm which seems a bit mean.

Still considering it though as it's only an hour on the train for us and we've got a family railcard.
#11
cold. i must be braindead, but £10 seems too much for this...
#12
Cheap and I can't find the deal cheaper elsewhere so I'm voting hot.

Personally I couldn't think anything worse than going this time of year but each to their own:thumbsup:

We were there at half term and the only day it persisted it down was the day we'd booked to go,kids didn't enjoy it that much either as it was cold, wet and windy:roll:

just no need for the "lol" in there, doesn't make sense and not relevant use of the term.:x

If you actually see what rides are open, I live in Blackpool, this is a cold deal. No major rides open eg The big one, revolution etc. It seems the south side of the park is closed and this is where the main rides are
#22
lol the big dipper. Japanese rollercoasters own this, can't wait to try it out though
#23
i would rather spend a week in skegness than a day in blackpool
#24
seeing the op have a hissy fit at people voting this cold is almost worth adding heat for!
#25
Good deal compared to full price tickets but if half of the rides are closed as rotisman38 says I think this should be mentioned on the web site.

We went on a Sunday a couple of weeks ago & the fair was closed! I didn't know it shut early.

It was blowing a gale and chucking it down on the front, so we grabbed an overpriced hot dog & jumped straight back in the car and drove home!
#28
Only the north end of the park is open which means Grand National, Ice Blast, Derby Racer, Maxim's flying machine, River Caves and Valhalla (Brrrrrrrrrrr). You judge for yourself if you think that's good value for money.
#29
well ive just been listening to the radio and it said the infusion was open as well as valhalla as well as lots of other rides, and infusion is not on the north end of the park.

maybe thats when the park was closed due to the big dipper crashing?

Ah they're opening up to Tom Sawyer bridge then  Nothing further than that will be open though.

The what bridge?

It's the name of one of the walkways in the park. :)
