Enter code 1148 on the low price ticket finder section of the Blackpool Pleasure Beach website to receive 2 wristbands for the price of 1 at full price, so that's 2 wristbands for £32 or £16 each :) Don't know when this code expires or what dates it's valid for though :/

This offer expires on 06/11/11 and you must have a metal irn-bru bottle top from a glass bottle. The tickets work out £16 each and a maximum of 4 tickets per bottle top. They are also offering a return visit free for the £27 ticket so you might be better considering that option if you have a longer stay.

when did blackpool get so expensive! use to be free to get in to, good old days have gone :(

I think this might be the Iron Brew code. If it is you are supposed to show a bottle cap from a glass bottle of Iron Brew (which I believe is only available in Scotland) when you collect your tickets. Whether the staff at the pleasure beach will actually bother asking to see your bottle cap is the ‘gamble’ of using random code.

it was free to get in, but you paid for all the rides individually.

The wristband gives you unlimited rides all day.

You obviously didn't buy a West Ham season ticket last year !

it sounds like a good deal until you read the fine print that says you have to go to blackpool.

don't forget if its a family order kids seperate 2 x junior £27

Good deal! Just got my tickets half price, 4 of us going to Blackpool Pleasure beach for £64.00. Not a bad deal. Tip for Mark Johnson, the tickets do appear to be £22 each, but if you put the code in as detailed, you get the special offer coming up! Tip, always read the fine print!
#18
It's £5 just to get into the park. TBF though, Alton Towers is £39.60 each so it's cheap compared. Blackpool do have wristbands on offer at the moment as well for £22
#19
thank you, just booked tickets for september, although it does say bring proof of promotion code - how?
#20
There are several sellers on eBay trying to sell the irn bru bottle cover with this promo code on, along with a bottle cap. Their pictures look like normal plastic bottle caps, with nothing unusual about them. Thus, if you want to reduce the chance of this backfiring, I'd buy either a 500ml or 2l bottle of irn bru (even without the promo) and take the bottle cap.

The sign made me chuckle.

Unless you live quite close to Blackpool I would not bother going there, I grew up in liverpool and Blackpool and other places like Southport,Rhyl etc. they used to be great places to go for a day out.

Blackpool has changed a lot over the years and is now mostly a HEN party or Lads Booze up destination, there are very few things there that are not overpriced, or cheap and nasty.

I used to love the place even took my own children when they were young, I still have too visit the place occasionally for Business which sometimes involves an overnight stay, but I try to keep that to a minimum.

Hi, Great deal, Has anybody used this promotion without Irn Bru bottle top?
#24
I can confirm that this is the code from the glass bottles of Irn Bru. On the label is states that you must bring the cap from the glass bottle; I went last week but they didn't ask for it.

lived there for over 20 years (granted, it was in Cleveleys...) but Blackpool is a dump. If I were going as a tourist then you should stay "north" - the other side of gynn square. There are a couple of decent hotels on th "town side" of gynn square but they seem to be mainly cheap and cheerful b&b's - with the obvious exceptions of the major chains.

there are much more civilised places just outside Blackpool. Poulton, Cleveleys. St Annes... Preston (to an extent!) But Blackpool is shocking - the thought of a holiday there makes me want to consider stabbing myself with a rusty fork!

enjoy the pleasure beach though... and don't play the side stalls - I worked on one as a teenager. tin cans have sand in them, so you can't knock them off the shelves. Basketball games have a low roof so you can't get height on the ball. "rollerball" (different slots have different numbers at the bottom - add to a certain amount and you win. The demo will always show a win, but the assistant can change the angle of the slide when he resets the contraption. Very subtle con but it works a treat!.

Night Clubs serving cheap Vodka in a smirnoff bottle and charging a fortune for it. Entry fees to nightclubs are often slashed in half if you tell the guys on the door that your postcode is "FY1 9RP" or whatever...

bottom line... **** hole!

oh, and NEVER ask for a glass of water in Nelly Deans nightclub... I did once and was kicked out for saying I wouldn't pay £1 for 200ml of tap water!

this really does look like the last word in luxury, better than any of them sodding hotels in dubai

Blackpool, what a dump.
#28
What if they ask for a bottle top?
#29
Does anyone know if there is free parking close to the fair? or how much it is to pay and display?
#30
Is this a one-use code? Are these in every bottle of Irn Bru or just select ones?

noone beleive this, it doesn't work. I rung the enquiry hotline to double check it was correct and they said If i booked on here with a code but did not have the bottle top when i went, they wouldn't give me the tickets at all. TO ANYONE WHOS ALREADY BOOKED: gutted you're going to have to pay more now. always check these things!
#32
If you have used a promotion code during your booking you will need to bring the promotional vouchers to redeem your wristbands :p

There is a pay and display opposite prices are

003 Hours = £03.50
012 Hours = £07.50
024 Hours = £10.00
048 Hours = £12.00
072 Hours = £16.00
096 Hours = £19.00
168 Hours = £30.00

It's about the same for all car parks in Blackpool

Once they effectively started to charge Parents £5 each to escort their kids round the park effectively killed it for me and not been to Blackpool since except when i have to work there.

Alton Towers has more rides though - they always usually have bogof on tickets too.

So, is it worth risking it or not without the bottle top?
