Enter code 1148 on the low price ticket finder section of the Blackpool Pleasure Beach website to receive 2 wristbands for the price of 1 at full price, so that's 2 wristbands for £32 or £16 each :) Don't know when this code expires or what dates it's valid for though :/

This offer expires on 06/11/11 and you must have a metal irn-bru bottle top from a glass bottle. The tickets work out £16 each and a maximum of 4 tickets per bottle top. They are also offering a return visit free for the £27 ticket so you might be better considering that option if you have a longer stay.

Theres loads of codes all the same promotion which is 3 for 2 on wristbands.
you'll only save yourself about £2 on across 3 wristband but every little helps
Heres a few of the promo codes you may find useful.
1181 bury times promotion 342
1182 Prestwich Guide promorion 342
1183 Moneysupermarket.com 342
1184 Yorkshire Post 342
1185 News and Star 342
1186 Daily Record 342
1188 Comback Soon promo 342
1155 Halifax Courier promo 342
1166 Northern Rail promo 342

There are lots of these codes knocking around if you've time just sit there adding a digit after the last promotional code until you get the offer you want...
It's not rocket science folks!

Above are just a few examples.
The pleasure advertise in lots of local press and magazines. they include a code to see which advertising sources work for them.
With the 3 for 2 offer you'll save yourself and extra £2 off Blackpool pleasure beaches latest offer of £22 per wristband.
Don't bother with the iron brew promotion as when your caught you will end up paying FULL PRICE.
Substitute bottle caps are not accepted. they must be promotional metal caps with a promocode.

Hope this helps clarify things up.
Enjoy the rest of the summer ;-)

I went on Wednesday, and got asked as well. I bought my bottle lid from seller on eBay, which they accepted without any problems.

Ebay cap bought, I hope it is metal... looks it. Why is this expired?

Hopefully this isn't a daft question!!! But are the 2 for 1 offer lids any different from the normal Irn Bru bottle metal lids?

My son and his pals are going in September and I would like to get them this deal but none of the bottles I have have the offer on them but I've got a few "normal" bottles with metal lids (i.e. with 30p deposit written on them)

Does anyone know if these would be accepted or are the ones from this offer different from the normal ones?

Can anyone help?

I wouldn't risk using this code. My daughter and a group of friends went today with an e-ticket purchased using the irn-bru promotional code however were asked to pay an additional £6 each, as they had the wrong type of bottle tops with them (plastic instead of metal). The original ticket price they paid online worked out at £16 each but they ended up paying £22 each (ie: the usual on-line booking price) with no 2-for-1 or 3-for-2 discounts applied.

Yes, that's why you have to have the metal tops.... on ebay for £1.85, mine arrived today and is metal!!
#92
we went on Monday using this desal luckily I had bought a metal cap on ebay for £1.70 as they did ask for the bottle top and looked quite surprised when I produced one :)

The cap from the glass irn bru bottle is just the ordinary metal one with the 30p on it can confirm as i got mine from a promo bottle but cap is the same. Wish I had thought up the Ebay scam selling them for £1.70 a time. The bottle costs 70p after refund and you get to drink the BRU too.

ok yeah I didn't read the full thread, I went yesterday and got charged the extra.

However I will add that if you are going I would invest in a speedy pass, if you have a huowge family then it's a fair wack so unlucky for you but your kids your problem. I went with my girlfriend and it was an extra 20 quid for both of us but OMG what a luxury, we didn't wait to get on a ride for more than 10 minuets and some the regular queues were huge.

It mostly only covers the white knuckle rides but still worth it, we got about 20 rides in between half 11 and 8
