Blackpool Pleasure Beach £20.00 each for unlimited rides

bargainhunter666bargainhunter666

School holidays nearly over so Blackpool pleasure Beach offering £20 online price - book before midnight.
Not been sincen they introduced the rip off £5 admin fee so it will be interesting to see if it is run down....
UPDATE. Paid online but had to q 32 mins to get tickets so not impressed at all with that system. Q's after were ten to thirty mins but lesser on I.e avalanche and grand national. Worth the twenty entry.
Looks like far better to come here than flamingoland which is getting appalling reviews this season.

They keep trying to find new ways to make money from nothing ever since Geoffrey Thompson died (the owner).
His Greedy snot face daughter took over (Amanda Thompson),First she Introduced the charge of £5 just to walk on the premises,
Now they want to add £5 Booking Fee,I have had the displeasure of having to deal with her when i worked there about 15 years
    ago.
I grew up in Blackpool, and it was always a nice day out to just walk through the pleasure beech watching people enjoy the rides.
It use to generated business from us because all though we didn't always use the rides we still bought some candy floss or a hot dog,
Now its £20 for us all to walk through without going on a single ride or buying any food!

I had a great ride in Blackpool in 1985 - her name was Jane and she was from Guildford....her dad was a copper I think. Oh to be 15 again.

Great price, haven't been to BPB for a long time! I think it was £25 last time I went.

I think this sort of deal has it's ups and downs

One does not simply walk into Blackpool Pleasure Beach.

Went yesterday (using a Tesco Clubcard deal) Still brilliant fun. Wouldn't say it's run down but don't expect Disney standards, particularly in the older inside rides. Still a great collection of heritage wooden coasters & some newer ferocious rides. If you're taking children I would get a full pass not just a Nickelodeon Land pass, as restricting yourselves to Nickelodeon Land you will miss out on a lot of other family rides.

I know its only saving a few pounds but there's a 2 for 1 in today's Daily Star.

Collect a token from today and one from tomorrow's edition.

Book online then show up and recieve that and 2 for 1 for Ripley's Believe it or not plus adventure golf

Gotta love the Big Dipper and Grand National, the Big One is tall but uneventful, last time I went which was about 5 years ago, it was on its way down, god knows what it is like now.

Yes, some things you have to still pay for eg go-karts, & water bumpers, tip if you go try and park at the back of the fair on the road as the parking meter is broken so free parking ;) just check it is still broken, just in case.

I would say Thorpe park and Alton Towers are a much better than Blackpool pleasure beach. Blackpool was a awesome place to go and when I was a kid my mum and dad would drive us down once a year. Now its well... not what it once was. :( It sucks to see something from your childhood that you loved so much die and become just another place to avoid. Meh just my view please don't hate.

Full of Chavs/neds now. I have many happy memories from years gone bye but it is a dump these days.

Get lost! I'm taking the kids in late September and want the place to myself. ;)

Agreed, the demise of Southport Pleasure Land was thanks to her as well. They pushed prices up despite the place being totally run down. They later shut the place down and moved the one decent ride to Blackpool and called it Infusion.

I thought this was a good deal as wouldn't mind taking my 23 month old but I would have to pay the £20 for him too! So £40 for us to go on a few baby rides! What a rip off! The other big theme parks are free for under 2's.

Funnily enough I know Jane; she told me that the best ride she had in Blackpool in 1985 was on the ghost train as it gave her the proper 'willies' :D Don't shoot the messenger ;)
