I saw this the other night on sky plus, tbh I thought it was slow and boring.

Slow, U are joking. I agree it takes some time to warm up.

That's a cult movie! Not everybody will like it but you have to see it. You can view it as just a movie, slow or not, it's still a good sci-fi movie with a brilliant story line. Or you can read further into it, and find a lot about ostracism, discrimination, racism etc. in the way androids are treated. Or think about whether robots (one day for sure) should have rights. And the biggest question of all... Is Deckard (H. Ford) human, after all, or is he too an android???

I just loved this movie and I'm sure this new boxset will make some of you happy. So... voted hot, by any means!

Did you also think that "I, Robot" with Will Smith was a great movie?

As mentionned, it's a cult movie and it more about atmosphere than purely an action fest. But there's quite a bit of action once it gets going.

Good price, very tempting. I am just hesitating between that and "Blade Rune: The Final Cut (10-Disc Extra-Ultimate Mad-collectors' Edition Briefcase) on Blue-Ray that should appears some time before 2012... I am in no rush. I probably have ten years to wait before it's time to sit down with my sons and watch it.

Blu Ray HD FTW! :p

actually bought this DVD tin version when it first came out, I think around £18 from HMV.com, but it got lost in the post, & when out of stock online as it was "limited" edition:x so ended up having to buy again from local HMV shop for £21:x but now I've got a PS3, wish I held back & got the R1 5 Disc BD release instead

I have the 5 disc BD set and it's excellent. However the packaging is pretty bog standard. I would have loved it if they could have released the BD set in this tinned packaging. Maybe a possible future Region B release? At the moment the UK only has a 2 disc BD version.

I have both this version and the US 5-disc Blu ray edition. I bought it off ebay on the day of release for about £25. He's selling them for £19 delivered now. I've bought many US Blu Rays off him so I have no problem with recommending him if you still want it. Can't seem to post a link but his username is 'Libalex'. Best thing is that he is a UK seller and already has all the stuff imported which makes delivery quick.

My favourite all time movie... fantastic deal on one of the best DVD packages ever released. If there was ever an essential purchase.....
