It only has a resolution of 1366x768, 19" monitors typically have 1440x900 or more. If you don't need the TV part, you'll be able to get a better monitor for less money on Amazon, if you need the TV part, then this isn't a bad buy.

They have these in out local Tesco for £99, I wonder if they'll match their own online price ?

The vertical resolution (720) is far too low really. Windows 8 requires 768 and I'd say even that is unusuably small. Save the money towards an actual monitor.

[edit]
The guy above says it *is* 768 high. So it would technically work, but it'd be bad!

I was told by phone support that these TVs were online only, and I called my local stores and they had no stock of them.

The Samsung LED 19" is only £80 at Currys. Worth the extra £11 imo.

£99 today at Tesco Staines and £69 at Tesco Ashford Middx, although the assistant at Ashford said this was a wrong price and it should be £119. She did say it was going down to £62-something tomorrow. It was not clear whether this only applied to the Ashford store but worth a look AND getting a price check done if you are buying elswhere tomorrow.
