in so glad it helped someone else too. I posted this TV from appliances online 3 days ago at 20 quid more, but didn't go for it myself.

I even registered for stock alerts on this TV from tesco, so was a mixture of confused, excited, and disappointed when I saw it was in stock lol

where is the free 5 year warranty it states its £25.99

It is automatically added, and will be sent to your email address in January.

Please note you will not get written confirmation of your 5 year guarantee in the box with your TV. Once this promotion has ended on the 21st January 2015 we will send you an e-mail confirming your 5 year guarantee. If you do not receive an email confirming your 5 year free guarantee by January 31st 2015 please contact Tesco Customer Services.

From the Tesco website....

Got it with the last deal (10 more and cold, haha) for bedroom and I really like it. Really value for money. Picture really good for the price, sound not really good but get used to it. Use it with chromecast most of the time and runs without any problems.
But not sure how to get free view running o.o

bought this last year from tesco for £99 and it broke in nov and Tesco said had to send back myself , so keep box because they send courier to pick up and has to be boxed, also still waiting for them to return it and customer service don't answer emails.

Yours is probably not 1080p model.

£99 is 720 not the full HD!

i cant believe this is hotter! lol, it was £20 quid more expensive 3 days ago from AO where it was in stock.
i cant seem to find anywhere about PVR function... do you reckon this means that it doesnt have it..? im sure i read somewhere that it did have it... hhmmm

edit: it says USB recording on the appliances online webpage for the same TV so hopefully thats actually a feature too and tesco missed this off.

My Mum got this for £150 before Xmas but I see it's gone back up £50 :( Was going to say this would be better than this one as 1080p but it's dearer so....no harm in keeping an eye on this though folks! :)

Will this be ok for a pc monitor?

it has VGA connection so it could be used that way (which is always a good starting point!!) does the mhz affect the usage as a monitor or anything?

I know youre excited, but this tv has been this price more than once before. That will be why its not hotter.

This is the lightest 32" tv I've seen.
Had to put it on the scales it was soo light. About 5kgs.
Can pick it up with two fingers
Got one last time and happy with it

Ours was delivered today, was very light, nice and tidy back too :) Very happy with it, will be mounting it too the wall, so the lighter it is, the less I'll worry :P

Youre absolutely right. i also agree with the post above yours about the inflated RRP. its not the hottest deal by any standards.

Is this the same Blaupunkt 32 inch set that Which? magazine awarded the ultra-lowly rating of 21% to last year?

I have lost all confidence in Which? The last straw was a DAB radio which they gave a best buy rating, which is a terrible radio as all the reviews on the John Lewis site confirm. Remember too that Which have skewed ratings from their own members due to them buying mainly expensive brands, so they dont have members defending the cheap brands. I got a Blaupunkt last Summer so bf would stop hogging the living room tv for sports and its been fantastic. Such a nice picture that the Virgin engineer wanted to get two for his kids when he saw it.

Is it possible for you to post the review?

can anyone confirm the dimensions as tesco website says depth is 17cm. i hope that's the packaging and not the actual tv?
#36
I've had 3 blaupunkt tvs and they have all gone wrong within months. You get what you pay for. Or I'm just very unlucky.
#37
just opening mine now.. the box is only 13cm wide, so im guessing its the base at its widest part that is 17cm.. ill let you know in a sec

yup its the base that is infact 18cm wide. its glass. the unit itself is a little under 8cm wide.

Edited By: FTOdude170 on Jan 10, 2015 08:55: dimensions yo!
