Had to look at this twice, limited edition for £30.

was disappointed this was not originally released in the UK at the same time as the US, but the wait has now ended.

Cancelled my order with amazon, £30.90 or something, and ordered using Zavvi. Really shouldn't be getting any more games as I have FF13 currently in the post, and SSF4 coming soon in April..

see if quidco goes through :P

edit: hmm good price, but Blazblue Continuum Shift is coming in this summer, might cancel this. Will think about it first.

I'm really not sure about this. I know continuum shift is coming out in the summer in America but that'll mean another years wait for us...

I really want to get a fighting game so it's pretty much between this and SSF4. I was extremely disappointed by tekken 6.

It's hot definitely, but I can see this game dropping quite quickly. I can't play any fighting games till the summer anyway.

Do any other fighting games fans know why King of Fighters XII can't be had for dirt cheap yet?

Quite a shame no audio CD comes with the Limited Edition - what's that all about?

EU release is just getting less as usual, we always seem to pay more or get a little less than everywhere else.

Still i am tempted to keep the pre-order the graphics looks stunning. I do enjoy playing SF4, and SSF4 is coming out in April at a cheaper price soo......

Tekken 6 isn't as bad as people say but the online play pretty much kills the game for me.

Was looking at KOF too, but apparently its a incomplete game. Really loved played 98, that has got to be the best one out of the series.

Aren't we getting a few bonus characters?

I thought I read that somewhere...

EDIT: Found the link but it doesn't go into much detail...

I think I read somewhere that actually, all we're getting are some new colours for the characters, but don't hold me to that.

i've read we are getting the bonus colours on a cd (which is a DLC elsewhere) but don't hold me to that.

decent price for a new release but when ssf4 comes out i know i wont touch this again, if they released it when everyone else got it then it might have been different :(

This game looks really good - But £29.99 still seems too much but...

Very good reviews & prob worth it if you've already got SF4

Btw King of Fighters xii is really bad... I love fighting games but this is nothing to it, No survival , Only 5 stages and No Boss ... An extremely poor effort prob worst KOF ever . I paid £14.99 for it & that was too much

Facts: This came out in America back in about June.
The EU exclusive content is new colours for characters, and Unlimited versions of all characters which are basically super modes.
The sequel (Continuum Shift)'s arcade version is available for PC, but I'm pretty sure I shouldn't say more than that here. But of course the home version has things like story mode, online play etc, so you should still buy this. CS is nice for a demo though.
Finally, the regular boxart is absolutely hideous, so buy the limited edition.

It's a very good game at a good price too. Thanks OP.

In America everyone pretty much ignored KOF, BlazBlue and Tekken for SF4 after a while. Why release this game over here at all in the UK. Anybody that wants it could've got it for £30 for nearly a year now.

Actually, I think Blazblue was quite popular in America. A lot of people in fighting game communities really enjoyed it.

I said 'after a while', poor choice of words on my part but I meant that they got bored of it.
#14
I imported this just after the N.american release a while back, Fantastic game. 30 for the special edition is an absolute bargain imo

The problem is that i can see this going for £20 within about one month. If the preorder price has already dropped and most sites have this listed then i'm guessing there's going to be a lot of surpluss stock that they'll want to shift when.

+1 for the KOF comment - Paid the same price, have all of the KOF games and was very disapointed, was more impressed with Battle Fantasia, which was cheaper!

But with Blazblue at this price for LE im very tempted! :-D

I bought an Imported copy from ebay for £49.99. Beautifully made game.
#18
I have a feeling this will drop in price 1-2 months after release.

Just got the dispatch, poor show from Zavvi!
