Might be worth adding to the title Master system console so people don't think it's the megadrive version.

The number of buttons should give it away though.

i ordered mine when this was first posted about a month ago for £18 odd, bargain at this price. the games are brilliant on such a small screen, and they have ported them perfectly, but i agree with the other posters comments about directfotos service!!! took 19 days for mine to arrive! i e mailed them on the 17th day asking where it was? 2 days later it arrived.....

There is a mega drive version just like this, and a re-released home console mega drive which is more compact and plays the old games, but is at heart just a mega drive (that is newer and thus less likely to break due to its age)...but other than that no...you can get controllers with USB ends to plug into computer though so can play ROMs on your computer with the controller...i keep meaning to sort my NES controller to USB so i can retro on the PC :D

I emailed them yesterday and got a response today

i said i dont mind waiting for stuff but you have taken my payment 3 days ago and not even emailed me a think- if it not dispatched and money been taken i want to know why...they replied saying it out of stock and they getting some in in 5-7 days...

it is pretty bad/rude service to take an order, following day take the money and then not even notify the customer about delays/dispatching for 4 days and only after they have emailed complaining

We sincerely apologize for the delay in getting your order to you. This is due to the item being out of stock caused by a delivery delay.

We are due new stock in the next 5-7 working days. As soon as new stock is received we shall dispatch to you.

We apologise for the inconvenience and the delay this has caused.

Im sure a trading rule came in that monies were only to be taken when order was ready for dispatch unless it was a specialist item like something made specifically just for you?

We should collectively complain to this company with letters and emails while continuing to warn other hukd members that this company offers crap service. They might get the message and if not then they should lose some business!

Nope, i actually got a personal one directed to me- hence i said thank you for them replying...then yesterday i got the email you talking about as well...so apparently it was 5-7 days 3 days ago, but it still 5-7 days...am i just adding up wrong or does that make no sense!!

I have a theory...
i think they dont keep any in stock and when they recieve a few orders, say 10, they order all at once...then they dont have to risk buying something they wont sell...

but the taking money thing without emailing me or notifying me of anything til at least 3 days later (which is after i made a point of emailing them) is what ticks me off...if i ordered and they said sorry you have to wait 3 weeks i would be annoyed but not really ticked at them...or even if they took money and explained reason for delay...i even said to them they still have in there pocession something i have paid for and is rightfully mine...

I did note people saying it took a while and to me that was a case of "for this price i dont mind" but its not just the length of time that makes it bad service...

a) no details on stock availability on website
b) take money when order, BEFORE even packaged to post
c) do not inform you of any updates for ages and when they do its a mass spam to all customers
d) takes ages to recieve stuff


ok, it only been a week, but from the sounds of it it be at least another 1 :x


EDIT: theoretically from when they send my email i should have it by end of week (sat), so if i dont have after post on monday i will email them again being an unhappy bunny!!

RE-EDIT: Tuesday since monday is bank holiday :P

I still havent received this product. They dont reply to emails and no one answers the phones. Cancelling my order unless arrives in the next day or so be over two weeks now. Wont use them again. They even took the money out of my account before sending out which I am pretty sure is dodgy.

yeah they took the money straight away for me too...after i complained about them taking money they sent email saying it out of stock and back in 5-7 days, it been 11 days since that was sent...then they sent a letter to a number of people saying it out of stock and back in 5-7 days, it been 8 days since that one...not recieved one saying theyposted yet though- then again i would expect them not to say it been posted...

my post not come yet today (dont get it til like 12 30!!) and obviously it would not have come fri or mon so i allowed til today...else i email them again...

i ordered mine on March 21st- so 16 days ago...i no people said they bad and took ages but i thought it be alright just to wait...didnt know they would take the money and be some mute about everything else i would not have bothered

EDIT: the site now says its a "pre-order" and it released 5th feb :S

Still haven't got my money back or my order, they don't reply to the numerous emails and don't pick up their phone. I'm having to go to my bank to contest the transaction for a refund...absolute C***S
