anyone know if this is any good, been after one for a tenner so might buy..

Looks like the one my doctor uses, not sure if its the same make

wrist monitors are not as good as arm. make sure whatever you buy is BHS certified or tested to Eurpean protocol if you are serious about monitoring and want the best chance of an accurate result.

I have seen these wrist monitors for less than a tenner in my local lloyds

The price is OK, although not brilliant, but ain't bad.

I was also about to mention that wrist monitors are nowhere near as accurate as arm monitors, but rheumatoid beat me to it!

HOWEVER, it is important that people know their blood pressure and these are good enough for people to find out if they have a problem.

Voted HOT, simply because it may ultimately save someone's life.

Looks like the one I bought from Lidl's for around £5 on Thursday.

P.S. Have just checked the deals email and it shows as costing £9.77 but I definitely paid around £5.00 for it so maybe my store mispriced it?

there were 2 in Aldi today, one was 9.99, the other was 7.99. Both in the new(ish) section so voted cold for that reason.

I just ordered one, hope to recieve it soon, I think that is the best price you can get for these items

my arm one from lloyds at 9.99 works fine for me
had a wrist one , but not too happy with it.
anyway my gp insists that these cheep ones are not as accurate as theirs (omron etc). apparantely they have them serviced annually , and the ones we have at home do not work as well after some time.
however i am quite happy with my lloyds one.
