For all your red wine lovers out there! In my local Tesco I found 3 litres of Blossom Hill Cabernet Sauvignon Shiraz in a box for £8.59. It is being discontinued. Normal price around £14.99.

Please note its not easy to spot as its not advertised as reduced or with a yellow label. It caught my eye by chance. Its a bargain and its great wine!
Hope your as lucky as me. I thought a had got myself the last three boxes but went instore again yesterday and there is more!

I’m gonna buy two, one for the bedside and the other for the car. At this price I can’t afford to be sober. :w00t:

It is but it doesn't mix with cheese as well as red wine does.

Do you have to drink it there or can you take it away?

Wine in a box, takes me back to the 80's...god my parents drank some foul wine....hope this stuff is better, but it still won't fit in my wine rack...have some heat, good spot and instructions.

You could always take it with you to the Tesco Café and have a drink to accompany your food. I don’t know whether Tesco charge corkage as it doesn’t have a cork! :-D

I was commenting on boxed wines in general, as far as I am aware my parents only ever drank white as I did until I was 30....now only drink red...OP says it is cracking, taking his word for it as going to nip into Tesco's tonight and see if I can pick any up.
