Oooh, thanks for the tip wulshaz :)

Tesco as usual inflate their 'normal' price to make the offer look good. Nobody would ever want to pay full price for Blossom Hill. It is like homebrew. £3 is about what it's worth but much better wines available if you look around. They export nearlly all their production because celifornians will not drink it.
#8
Standard pricing is not £3, it isn't £5.47 either but this is still a good deal. This is nicer than homebrew & yes others are available so please suggest some better wines that are also £3.....

Voted hot .

Grabbed a load yesterday, good buy considering most places are charging over £5 a bottle for it, this is better than the other rose, "with hints of strawberry and watermelon" yum yum!
#11

Standard price is NOT £5.47......these normally go for around £4.50 in most supermarkets.

Good deal still though, just dont go thinking you are saving £2.57 cos you aint!!

One of the BEST Roses available
#16
I haven't seen it anywhere below a fiver this summer...

£3 is probably what its worth to be honest - at that price its worth buying if cheap wine is what you want.

If not, pay a couple of pounds extra for some half decent stuff.

agreed, it's wine for people who don't like wine. who would have thought that combining the worst wine producing country quality-wise with the worst style of wine (rose/blush) would produce a product this popular?

i blame teenage girls and single mothers.

good deal though, lol
#19
I do like this stuff, I'm not a wine snob & was trying to point out for £3 just what are the alternatives that are so much better than this?
I couldn't give a rats-ass what country it's from or if it's the 'worst style' (a strange statement to make considering this is the most popular for lots of people) of wine as long as it tastes nice & fits my (low, same as many-many people's) budget.
#20
always a bit sceptical of people that claim to know a better deal but forget examples.

When £3 buys you a bottle of something you like, its a deal.
#21
mmm... chav wine!

mmm... chav wine!

Nah, that'll be Lambrini light - all the best chavs drink that. Coincidentally also on offer at Tesco at the bargain price of £1.17 a bottle!!
#23
I love this with lemonade.

Great find!

 whatever!!

This for a sub £10 wine is actually VERY VERY good - Its popularity lays testiment to that. anyone spending over £7 on a bottle of wine is doing so because they have the money and its a snobbery thing - I have tried £25 bottle of wine and thought it was AWFUL and tried a £4 wine and thought it was great - its all about personal taste - but having tasted many so called 'expensive' wines i really do think wine is a big con. I agree the Lambrinis of this world are awful though

It's popular because it's cheap, and cheap people buy it.
There are far better wines out there for marginally more money.
You'll rarely see blossom hill wine recommended in the press, except in the sun. Which says it all really.

Name one then. I'm not saying this is the best wine in the world, but £3 for an easy drinking, summery rose, I don't think you can do much better.
#28
if you dont like this wine then dont buy it, that's your choice, but dont go round making fun of and insulting those that do like it. :x

I am no single mother or chav and i like the stuff cos it tastes good (to me!)

At £3 a bottle it's a lot less than you would normally pay so to most people that are not up their own backsides, that makes it a good deal!

voted hot and dont bother looking in Tesco Friern Barnet cos i got the last 4 boottles! :whistling:
#29
well all i know is it is 5.47 in tesco whether or not it is standard i don,t know but seen as i drink it and its 3 quid now i still reckon its a good deal for me anyway! so when i finished my nightshift guess what i done? except i had to store it and go back later and pay for it! :-)

You're keen to get a £3 bottle of wine! Take the M&S online deal, I got 12 bottles of Pinot Grigio blush for £28 (not incl quidco!) so cheaper than £3!

Some people here should just button it! If you clearly don't like it then why are you wasting your energy telling everyone about it? Anyway i bought 3 and have one left... although on Sunday morning my head was banging a bit lol... bit of educating for you here too.. NEDS DRINK BUCKFAST NOT BLOSSOM HILL, and what's the sun newspaper got anything to do with advertising blossom hill? talking out the hole in yer hat mate!

I havent commented on any of this "wine is good, not good" nonsense.

If you like it buy it, if you don`t then keep your pennies for something else.

Oh and I drink buckfast occasionally, does that make me a ned.? How stereotypical..!
