True, there are some right turkeys in there (I could only see Space Cowboys to float my boat), but at least the retailers are finally realising that we're not gonna pay £25 for a BR movie!

Please tell me there is someone else out there who loves Time Bandits as much as me ! That must be one of the the very best kids films (and adults) from the 1980's .

I sold all my DVD's and stopped collecting films. One day I looked at the considerable collection I had built up and thought of all the money I had wasted. I'd rarely watch a film again once I'd seen it and I got caught up in the 3 for £10, 4 for £20 deals the shops were offering- convincing myself I was getting a bargain and that it would be good to add to my collection.

I'm glad that I reached the decision i did- I've stopped wasting money on films I'd watch once and then put back on the shelves to gather dust. My living room is now free from the clutter of hundreds of DVD's and I've not been tempted to waste even more money on the more expensive Bluray's and start the cycle all over again.
