Now Christmas Day post deadline has past the sales have started.

Blu-rays from just £1.99 but there is a sale as a whole too not just blu-rays so have a look.

Please don't vote cold based on your movie preference just if you feel it is a good deal. Thanks.

Every Blu-Ray movie for under £5 are absolutely rubbish... not me judging but IMBD rates most of them as 2 to 3 rating which isn't even worth watching for free on the TV I am afraid... sorry for the cold but its not really a deal, its called wasting £2 and £3's on tatt.. Its like when you go to a car boot sale and buy rubbish you don't even need coz its cheap! Come on! :(

It depends what you like, a lot of the cheap ones are horror because it's a marmite genre, you like it or you don't. I do and personally I like orphan, Friday the 13th and it's more a black comedy but I'm a big fan of scream 4. There's also Shutter Island and Brokeback Mountain, both of which have won awards and that's are under £5.

I do think you have IMDB* and hot uk deals mixed up. The posts here and based of the deals not he movie reviews. (_;)

Nothing wrong with a cheap blu-ray, sometimes it is good to have a view to boost the collection and in case you feel like watching a random movie one day.

I heard that if you watch a film that scores 2 or lower on IMDB and show any signs of pleasure, blood trickles from your ears and you get a 3 day migraine.
I haven't ever been foolish enough to try something so reckless and dangerous I'm happy to say.

Rush, gladiator, true grit? I doubt any of them are less than 8/10!

(Checked, true grit clearly rubbish, 7.7. 8.2 and 8.5 for others)

Can we downvote misleading comments?

IMDb ratings are nothing to go by. They just reflect a consensus - you're not gonna find films you like just from reading the score on that site. For example Guardians Of The Galaxy has 8.3/10, but I'd personally give it more of a 6/10. Just shows how subjective it is.

There are some good cheap films on Zavvi - Shadow Dancer and Wolf Creek both for £1.99 - but I voted cold on this post because it's very unspecific. There are already loads of posts signifying the cheap blu-rays which are a whole lot more specific, making this post redundant I'm afraid.

Bought this the other day and it arrived a couple of days later. Excellent box set, although most people will probably think the movie is rubbish (lack of action, love scenes etc). It took me a few viewings to appreciate what a great film it is. Sountrack alone is £12+ on Amazon.

You're too kind I would've given it a 3/10. I felt as I've seen the same film a million times before. Interstellar also has a lacking 73% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Despite IMHO being a far superior film.

YES INDEED we we should downvote misleading comments and they are yours!!! Gladiator is £4.99 NOT £1.99, True Grit is £3.99 NOT £1.99 and finally Rush is £4.99 NOT £1.99 so I rest my case with £1.99 Blu-Ray films at Zazzi are cheap carboot sale TAT!

Now stop replying with uneducated dribble as you are wasting my valuable time that I will never get back! :)

Not really. A "deal" is a good price for an item in demand. Poor films are less in demand than good films and command a lower price. So a really good film at £5 would be a better deal than a really poor film at £2. If this site operated purely on price, we'd have nothing but Poundland tat listed.
