Escortboy, I wasn't aware the Max had a Helios P10 processor and can't see it mentioned anyway?

That's a major statement to make, have you experienced a problem with them before? Albeit, I have read comments previously about Chinese manufactured phones in general having similar issues from an array of suppliers.

Some of the Elephone P8000 had this issue - not sure if Gearbest supplied any. My missus' phone had a trojan version of youtube. I had to wipe her phone and install a different version of android (not from the manufacturer) which I got from a trusted source.

Unfortunately, I had the same experience with my partner's Ulefone Paris from Gearbest

It is bad with pre-hacked phone in general. Same experience with Pepsi P1S from banggood..

Good price but I'd pay a bit extra and get a Xiaomi Mi Max. Full HD screen and a more established manufacturer with a good record for updates. Like this though no NFC.

Gearbest did have the grey one on offer at a reasonable price but gold/silver were very expensive.

Looks nice! and 6.44 screen too, At the moment cheapest I can find this is £172 from Light in the box however, but like all these chinese phones, you don't have to wait long before they are on special offer again :)

EDIT - Just found it for £166 from Banggood plus 6% topcashback.

Oh, I don't know why she's leaving,
Or where she's gonna go,
I guess she's got her reasons,
But I just don't want to know,
'Cos for twenty-four years
I've been living next door to Alice.

Every phone software manufacturer gathers data. Its one of the first things that you agree to when you switch on the phone.

What makes you think any data is going to chinese "hackers"? Also what makes you think google & apple are saints & trustworthy??
