Only 'reviews' I could find, they seem to think they can update once they get 1 delivered, at least that 1 looks like he was @some tech show?

The thumbnail preview of the image looked like a medical procedure. Almost put me off my lunch.

Very tempted, wonder whether there would be any root access available for it and whether it would run PS4 Remote Play?
#12
Another copy of the Xiaomi Mi Mix. Consider also the Doogee Mix.
#13
1080p screen Vs the 720p of the doogee... This seems a bit of a bargain

this promo says should be available for $80, also no headphone jack?

I believe its headphone jack is actually via the USB-C charging port, a bit like the iphone 7. I cant see a 3.5mm in the side profile images

Thinking of ordering this. What shipping option has anybody that has ordered this gone for?
#22
There's no 3.5 headphone jack, it's just the USB-C port. There's plenty of USB-C to 3.5mm converters on eBay.

I'm very tempted to order this as I was let down by AliExpress regarding my Redmi Note 4 of similar spec (although not as pretty and defo not the same body to screen ratio). Very tempted by this. DHL looks quickest at 3-7 days shipping + processing time etc.

Surprised this isn't getting more heat. Seems like an insane amount of bang for your buck.

So I bit the bullet and requested a refund from AliExpress for my Redmi.
I used DHL (not HK or SG) as I leave the country in just over 2 weeks and I need a phone before I leave. Hope they don't mess me around like AliExpress did :(

I hope you don't get stung with shipping tax using DHL

So is British priority mail the option to go for to avoid customs charges?

I've always found selecting freepostage option (takes around 10-20 days) is usually best to avoid shipping tax ordering goods from China, using any of the paid for courier services (usually a lot quicker delivery ) will get you hit with shipping tax

Do they charge you instantly or when it's dispatched

The promotional stock of 500 (black) handsets is over and price back to $210. There are 146 white ones (at the time of writing) for $160. Scratch that. Promotional stock replenished, 1000 more items. So I suppose presale price will be honoured for all purchases till the 17th.

Thanks. I did order it earlier this morning using Netherlands post as the option.
#35
I'm very tempted to buy it just to try it out. I have a Huawei P9 which for the most part is fine, but quite often it will 'lose' the network. Luckily it doesn't do this if I'm making a phone call.

Ive ordered today too, looks good.

Bot worried about using gearbest after previous mixed experiences but guess its all part of the game trying to get hold of these phones at the right price. Aliexpress have let me down badly on a Xiaomi Note 4 64gb, its been in transit since mid May, just submitted a claim/dispute (annoyed)

Seen couple clips on YouTube with this phone and its not completely bezel less, there is a visible about 2 or 3 mm frames. Some of websites saying also its IPS screen and some its Amoled. Anyway 125 quid for that its fair enough.
#38
anyone had any experience with this brand?
#39
not had a bluboo brand before have a look at online reviews of other models for brand info, if you guys want to not pay import duty choose netherlands postage method, takes about 10 to 15 days usually your parcel is routed thru netherlands post which is eu contry so no import duty to pay

Same here, Ordered mine May 31st. Tracking info hasn't been updated since 13th June which isn't acceptable at all. It's a shame since it seems like a lot of people have had positive experiences.
