Good price but voting cold only because I have major issues with DealExtreme over goods not arriving and not replying to my emails and still awaiting refund after over 4 months.I would NEVER deal with them again.

I brought this from dealextreme several months ago, it has worked perfectly ever since, the lights on front make it easy to see when its charging or charged and plugs direct into usb port of wii so if kept on stand by continuously charges while the wii isnt in use so i never have to worry bout my batteries being dead. Also has the battery packs included so all in all nice and easy and a god send when it comes to batteries. The charge lasts a long time ive never had it run out on me yet during a gaming session only thing i would note if left off charge when not in use the battery still drains.

As for dealextreme i have never had a issue with them and have used them many times in the past.

Overall would recommend it to anyone with a wii!

I had the same trouble but got there in the end. Tried them again and no problem.

This is a good product and has not given me any problems.

not voting as this is not really a deal though.

 I ordered this quite some time ago at this sort of price.

I am very happy with the product ( no-one can "borrow" these rechargeable
units like the batteries I had before as they obviously only fit the wii motes! )
but I am sure they are not 2800Mah they do not last as long as a 2800 should
do. Having said that for the price I paid they do the job, expect a 2 week wait
for them to arrive though.........

Bought loads from DealExtreme, they can be a little slow but they are 000's of miles away.
#14
for what you get (even if not truly 2800mah) this seems like a pretty good deal delivered to your door.
thanks OP. Ordered one.

Just got Wii with 2 remotes for Christmas.
How long do normal batteries last?

I assume this is something I will need if the batteries don't last too long. Any other money saving ideas \ tips for the Wii?

Hi all, the bottom photo on the linked page shows photo of battery packs as 1800mAh not 2800mAh. Still think its a good deal though.

The picture two above it shows a 2800mAh one though.

Can't really go wrong for this kind of money!

Always been tempted by this, but a shed load of AA Duracell from Costco costs peanuts.

Also, never change your Wiimote batteries when the Wii tells you batteries are going low...they last hours after that.
#21
Ordered, my first lot of batteries havent run out yet but im pre-empting that they won't last forever. Heat added, cheers OP.

Good price - could have been better if the exchange rate wasn't so ****!

I have one of these - not bad, but the charge doesn't last very long - only a few hours sometimes........

Hi Everyone....my first ever posting here (after months of lurking and saving ££££'s (thanks everyone for that)

Voted this hot as it is a great price and the cheapest I've seen....I've used dealsextreem and they are excellent.
But can I just point out that I've also seen a very similar recharger on ebay (am I allowed to post item numbers?...better not just in case lol)
It was just a £1 more (but you can shave abit of that with quidco) and it's from a UK supplier (please try to buy blittish in these credit crunched times lol)
And from what I can gather it's def 2800.

And thanks once again for all the deals people have posted that I have benefited from over tha last few months.
You guys are heros....but you must spend HOURS trawling all the sites for bargains lol

This is not really a deal, it been this price on there for ages.

Can anyone say whether you can charge with Wii remote covers on or would you have to take the cover off every time you plugged in? I'm talking about the official clear covers. Cheers!

You have to take the covers off to charge - you can get away with peeling them up sometimes, without removing them completely, but with 2 remotes in, you won't always get a proper connection, as the covers tend to get in the way - best to remove them completely I find.

They arent that good. You have to leave them on charge constantly 24/7 otherwise they lose charge if left on the stand really fast. Holds the charge well while gaming however, so im a little confused?? Although really at £8 you get what you pay for :)

How is this not really a deal? :?

I just use a set of Uniross Hybrio batteries in my remotes, last for ages, don't lose their charge and you can pick the batteries and charger together for around the same price as this.
#32
Had one of these for about a year, still going strong.

I agree using a set of Hybrio or Eneloop is a much better option that using these.

No the pack contains 2 AAA batteries so a maximum of 950mAh.

past experience has meant i only order cheapies like this from dealextreme.

one of those companies where in the odd, rare circumstance that something does go wrong you're pretty shafted.

my brother recently ordered a phone from them and it never got delivered. the courier left no "we missed you" card and on their site it said that visited the house at times people were definitely in the house. also, 2 visits were made with 5 minutes. wtf!

deal extreme sided with the courier, said my brother missed the visits and wanted to charge another $15 to re-send.

How is this not really a deal? :?.

they have always been this price nothing new or hot. we could all post deal extreme prices on here and clog up the deals.

A deal should be a new product at a good price or a reduction in price.

There are too many cold deals on here lately. .
