same here never tried them, what are they like? I never considered them a fruit for just eating, more for cooking etc!

Hot deal.

Blueberries are one of healthiest fruits you can eat. I use them mainly in smoothies.
#11
Just got some of these at lunch and couldnt believe how big the box was for a quid!! Bargain! Superfoods ahoy!
[helper]#12
I put mine into a fruit salad with strawberries, kiwi, banana and apple - blooming lovely!
#13

"350kg reduced from £3.99 to £1.99" :w00t:. I don't think my car could carry that much weight :p.

ROFL!! :giggle:

My little lad loves blueberries - he'd eat the whole punnet given half a chance,
though I doubt even he could eat 200kg!! We were advised that they are a great
superfood particularly for eyes - seemed to work lol!
#16
200kg? think i'll be needing some tesco value toilet roll if i made much progress into that...
#17
I kinda tried posting this yesterday as an add-on to a Innocent Smoothies deal (two 1L for £4)........here's the link:

http://hotukdeals.com/item/184334/innocent-smoothie-2-for-4

-can anyone tell me what I did wrong (basically, why my post didn't really make the main page? -my first one)

Cheers

200kg! That would double the weight of my fatass flatmate! He'd be like some terrible willy wonka experiment.
#19
Yeh this is great price, blueberries are 1 of the more dearer fruits.
#20
I'm there. Dunno how I'm going to carry them all home though. :(
#21
I'm a greengrocer and i can tell you these are at or very near cost price.

I hate tesco when they do things like this. I have to sell them at at least £1.85 to make a living. :-(

Blueberries contain the highest level of vitamin C gram for gram than any other fruit which is why they're considered a superfood but dont forget if your body has any excess of any vitamin or mineral your body will simply discard it. :-)

I thought Ribena was blackcurrants? :?

Good deal though, never tried Blueberries (well, do muffins count? :p) but they look yummy!
#27
my brother told me eating too many blueberries turned his poo blue.
He got the fright of his life! Not sure how true the story is tho ...

Worth it for this experiment alone!

Good knowledge Neiliboy! Have to admit though, I'm a bit suspicious of all this "superfood" malarkey. IMO, I think it's all a bit of a red herring. Still you can't argue with 200kg for a pound (that's the European food mountain for you)!

You shouldn't really put 2 deals on one post.. your main one was in my opinion an average kind of deal which people aren't going to vote hot and at the bottom you had this deal which people can't vote on because it would be a vote for the first deal.. does that make sense?

Dont be too put off though.. it still scored higher than any of my posts

You rambled on a bit, made it hard to see the offer. Also you didnt state the price or retailer in the title.

So people didnt vote it hot enough to make the front page, keep trying tho

#34
Oh the horror! I've just got back from Asda having paid £1.84 for 150grams.

For those who've never eaten them: Ever picked bilberries while out walking in the hills? Blueberries are the same, just a bit bigger.

Voted HOT
#35

#36

#37
