We went in April on a deal, and the quality and finish of these lodges is beautiful. Set in a lovely Welsh valley in Pembrokeshire, with a fantastic complimentary swimming center onsite, great dining, and other activities. The only 5 star self catering accomadation in Wales. Great for families, couples, and all. We loved it there, shame we can't go in the next couple of weeks.

If you like Centreparcs then this is similar, but less comercialised, and the quality of the lodges is far superior, and a great base to explore the surrounding Pembrokeshire countryside and coast

Is this for 4 peeps at £99 or book it for £99?

I'm presuming the latter but I've been wrong before!
#3
Can't seem to book it for £99. Comes up as £370 (£314 with 'AUTUMN' code).

Thanks rugman,
I had a quick peep at the site expecting to be dissapointed as D.H is disabled and most places give little information about accessability.
I am delighted to say the website and the facility are very disabled friendly
Looks like me and D.H will be visiting to coincide with our 10th wedding annivesary.

shame its only up to 4 people :(

You can hire golf buggies to get around, we saw these when we were there in April, and I think you'll be able to park outside your cabin if you get a pass.
Certainly the pool complex had lifts and big changing rooms, and the restaurants had ramps or were on ground level

I think you can get 2 of the offer lodges that would be together with interlocking doors for bigger families

The £99 price is for the lodge, for up to 4 people, so yes a couple can go and have a bedroom each!
#14
Shame it's midweek - great deal for anyone who can get the time off!

Looks like a great deal at a great place. H&R.

I cannot see anything as to whether they do or do not allow dogs?
Are the activities such as bike hire expensive? Is pool free? Thanks

The activities are charged, its like centre parcs, and they won't be cheap. From reading on trip advisor there isn't a kiddies park there or a soft play.

We took our 6 mth old and 4 year old in April. Most of our on site activity centered around the brilliant free (to guests) pool complex
http://www.bluelagoonwales.com/
We used as a base to explore locally. There's a fantastic childrens attraction www.folly-farm.co.uk where we spent a great day (so much to do could of spent 2 days) plus Wales 'biggest theme park www.oakwoodthemepark.co.uk both of which are very close by
But best of all is the Pembrokeshire coast and parks, fantastic

Hot offer..... but just checked, no dogs allowed, shame :-(
#21
Nowhere near as much to do as Centreparcs on site but the Blue Lagoon (I was there yesterday) swim centre is quite good - 4 slides and a wave machine etc
It's a good 20 minutes+ from the coast but as OP said Oakwood is very close and Folly Farm (15 mins away) is excellent in all weathers. Tenby is well worth a visit. Good walking country and there's lots of castles around if that's your thing. Going by the lack of people at the Blue Lagoon yesterday they may be struggling so grab a baragin while you can. I just think the location is not great IMO

£99 for four nights for four people is very good

No, you wouldn't need to add the baby to the book I wouldn't think. They provide cots but think they charge now. Give them a call and ask, they are always really lovely on the phone when I've called.

We went last November and second (or third!) the reccs for Folly Farm, Oakwood and day in Tenby. There is also an island full of Puffins you can get a boat to and another inhabited by monks!

The pool is amazing - didn't do anything else on-site as went out all the days we were there. I've seen reviews of people moaning that it isn't Centre Parks as not thta much on-site but as the Bluestone website itself says, this is to encourage people to explore the local natural beauty (or a cynical ploy not to add more stuff, lol) The lodges themselves are immaculate as they are only just over a year old as is the whole site.

I'm going in November as they had an offer last year of £99 for a midweek or weekend as of October but I'm not sure if they would do that again for winter or if it was just because it had only just opened. They brought out a repeat offer the other week now for those who stayed last winter, they will match the price for the same weekend this year so we got it for £99 again! We wanted to take another couple but we've both 3 babies between us which exceeded capacity so they gave us a second lodge for another £99! I was so impressed with this, not often a company will be so generous as they could have charged the £400 current price for the second.

Sorry, gone on a bit but the people I have spoken to on the phone have always been really friendly and helpful.

The kitchen is fully equipped ie pans, utensils, crockery, cutlery. There's a kettle and toaster, lovely oven and hob oh and microwave I think. I think there is a Tesco somewhere around, do a store locator search with the postcode, certainly not one on doorstop but should be something en-route depending on your direction.

Bedding provided, not sure re toiletries.you've just reminded me, the shower is awesome :)

what to do - see above posts and loads info on their website.

swimming pool on site and amazing, again link to it above

Not sure re needing a car, I'd say so but you never know.

Honestly guys, just phone them with any questions, always lovely on the phone.

£99 for 4 nights is a steal, you cant get a traveodge for that
