Well spotted, great idea ... love the mic built in. Havent searched to see if it's cheaper elsewhere. But HOT for bringing such a cool product to everyone's attention.

Does this work with all types of dogs? :w00t:

HOT from me.

I know I'm probably being really thick here - but how do you actually use this?? Does it connect to an MP3 player/Phone and play the music that on those devices (in which case why not play off them directly)?

I'd love to know as it looks like a really neat device!
#5
It's a bluetooth headset ... so you could use it with your phone for instance when driving or walking, or with your PC for a gaming headset / skype

BIG advantage being that you can use ANY headphones with it ... and it has built in mic

Ah, of course - sorry, I knew I was being thick! But appreciate you putting me straight.

I saw some like these before.. wish I'd gotten them now as I got some sony ericsson(sp?) ones that you can plug any headphones into too.. the only problem with them is that they don't have a forward/back button to skip tracks or anything. sound quality is excellent though, so end up having to make playlists on my phone at the moment

this one has buttons for skipping music ...

Any idea if the playback buttons would work on the iphone?
#16
any idea what the sound quality would be like for listening to music? i've tried listening to tunes through a regular bluetooth headset and the quality has always been terrible like it's a very low bit rate.
#17
Damn n blast you all - I had to buy one even though I didn't need one. Hope it's as good as it looks. Heat and rep for you.
#18
Can you engrave it?

(Just joking)
#19
I still don't understand what this thing does?

can someone explain it like they were explaining it to their granny for me please?

much appreciated.

my friend, its a bluetooth headset like the one you buy for your phone that goes in your ear, but with more cables really, you dont need to connect anything to the phone, just make sure its connected via bluetooth, stick in a pair of headphones to this item and you have a bluetooth handsfree kit!

it seems like you can use it for anything else that can take bluetooth audio handsfrees so you can listen to music while the mp3 player for example is in your bag without any headphone wires being connected to it!

good stuff, i'm buying 2! more credit card debt for me! woohoo
#21
Just a heads-up, this item does NOT appear to support A2DP, therefore playing music through it will result in similar sound quality to listening down a phone line...
banned#22
Seems quite good :). Hot.
#23
1% off from quidco! Omg! so much monies! :P
#24
Could it be used for playing online with thr ps3?
#25
looks slick !!!
#26
Heat + Rep + Extra Cool points. I don't even care if this is the cheapest you can get it, it's just several kinds of awesome :-)

Phones can only steam music through a2dp, this item DOES support it otherwise it would only work for calls
#28
but you'll notice the website doesn't say anything about music, just "Crystal clear calls".

If the list of protocols does not include A2DP, it most likely doesn't support it.

And I'm pretty sure some smartphnoes can put any audio output over HSP. My PC certainly slips into it occasionally with my sony DR-BT21Gs.

I think this is marketed as a replacement hands-free kit, not a bluetooth headphone adaptor.

think I'll be having one of these.

It's shiny and has buttons :-D
#31
Heated. Great find. Ordered, thanks.
#32
Can anyone confirm the lack of A2DP? Sometimes spec-lists are wrong afterall.

Seems silly to have pluggable stereo headphones when A2DP isn't supported.
#33
Its got ffwd and rew controls so it must be for music.
#34
it would be pretty pointless having the audio controls if it doesn't have a2dp but have emailed 7dayshop anyway
#35
I have to get 1 of these cool gadget and pretty cool to wear as well

give us updates on their reply asap please e_munky ^_^
#37
I went for the bluetooth headphones further down the page it has lots of problems with the audio cutting in and out - does this device suffer the same problem?
#38
