You dont need a photobucket account...... just right click on the image, go to properties, and C&P the IMG code into the image link box.

cheers, may get some heat now, but must add mine came in yellow box not blister wrap (so no cut fingers opening it ) thans again for the help guys, gjonmat :-)

Guess its a good price, but Virgin were recently giving these away free with a PAYG sim. They tend not to be very popular because of the difficulty of getting the uncommon AAAA battery.

Nice find - great price. Heat added

a 9v battery has 6 of these bad boys inside, look on youtube not sure what its under tho but watched someone pull a 9v to bits and there they were
#9
Heres a link to the 9v battery hack - looks a bit dangerous to me so do at your own risk...

Apparently it can be difficult to work out the + and - ends as they dont have the normal little bump on the + end so watch out

Well i didn't know that...... Good info.

That guy mentions AAA a lot more than AAAA batteries
Which type does the 9V contain?
#16
9v batteries have the AAAA type inside. They're a little smaller in diameter and a little shorter in length than AAA.

Absolutely, all this talk about "hard to find AAA" I have rechargeables for my Logitech Harmony remote. AAA are very commonplace indeed.

Think its a good deal

Found this interesting
Also known as: Quadruple A, Quad A, E96, LR61, 4061, MN2500, GP25A.
Might actually be cheaper to buy several headsets just to get the extra battery !
Maplins does pack of 2 Duracell AAAA for £3.99
Can find cheaper if you google but even so cheapest I found was nearly £3 including delivery !

Will look for this though in my local Sainsburys.
Thanks

Thats because they arent talking about AAA batteries. They are talking about AAAA batteries.

I bought this last year from Sainsburys for £9.99 but returned it as the battery was AAAA which s very rare and expensive to find. The cheapest I found on ebay was £4 (not worth it). However, if you can get away with a 9v battery hack trick then it's ok.

The headset itself is fine and has a good sound quality but battery replacement is a problem !
#23
I bought this last year and not using this becuase of the AAAA battery un-availability
#24
Is this only available in selected stores as I have not seen it at my Sainsbury's or online
