Great little gadget for the car or even round the house. Plugs straight into aux port and connects to a Bluetooth device.

Yes cheaper ones on eBay. How ever comes with 12 months warranty and is decent build.

The TaoTronics TT-BR05 Bluetooth 4.0 Receiver with EDR + A2DP profiling offers a convenient and functional way to transform audio and hi-fi systems into wireless compatible ones. Pair two devices at once and listen to music or make phone calls with ease. The built-in microphone picks up your voice with clarity so you can chat without problems. With 8 hours of battery life, or 200 hours standby time, there is enough to last most car trips before you need to recharge. Ideal for car or home speakers, you can also enjoy high-fidelity stereo audio through headphones. Simply connect your ear buds once the receiver is synced to a device be blown away as they turn into hands-free Bluetooth headphones. At TaoTronics, not only we offer high quality products, we back them up with 12 month warranty and a 30 day money back guaranty. What¡¯s included: Bluetooth 4.0 Receiver (Model: TT-BR05); Micro USB Charging Cable; 3.5mm Male to Male Audio Adapter; 3.5mm Audio Cable; and User Manual

Wide compatibility: Bluetooth 4.0 Receiver compatible with most smartphones, ideal for home or vehicle audio systems. But please do not attempt to connect the gadget to such as bluetooth headphones or bluetooth speakers, this is totally meaningless since the gadget functions as a bluetooth receiver for those devices without bluetooth feature itself but desire to receive bluetooth signal.

Double link: Connect two Bluetooth devices at once; freedom to enjoy music or answer phone calls

Control it: Change the volume, play/pause music, or skip tracks with ease; Apple devices can even activate Siri with the click of a button

8 hours of talk and play time, or up to 200 hours on standby on background.

Talk with clarity: Hands-free calling with the built-in microphone makes catching up with friends a breeze

None with 12 months warranty and a actual decent build. If your all for Chinese nock off then crack on.

Negative, transmitter /receiver makes much better option for same price

I have a Yamaha YAS-101 soundbar, which I would love to be wireless. I was wondering if this can do that as I cant see the correct port in YAS-101. oO

These are handy little things to get you Bluetooth connectivity but you do lose some quality compared to a cable connection.

Re price, you are better off paying £9.59 for something which works than £5 for something which doesn't.

eBay ones are a mine field and I understand the different types of Bluetooth. Most of them are just cheap bits of rubbish which break easily.

I've got one of these and use it in my car which has 3.5mm input but not Bluetooth (for music anyway).

It's great but obviously you do have to charge it up. It turns itself off after a period of inactivity.

Is the sound quality comparable to a direct 3.5mm connection to the aux input? I'm just having thoughts about previous FM transmitters to achieve the same thing, but guess it's understandable that they would not be a patch on sound quality compared to one of these?

I will NOT bow to all this Prime nonsense - selling my soul to tax-evading Amazon to save a couple of quid!

Fine if you wish to but all HUKD headline prices should be non-prime, ie the price you can actually buy it at without paying a fee first. Same for Costco, etc.

You get what you pay for with these.if looking for the best go for himbox one .yes double price but well recommended

Have three of this type all redundant now as find the fm transmitter type for my use of listing to the tv far more usable.Bluetooth ones are a damn nuisance linking them and drop out if going out the room.
Just select highest 107.9 frequency for living room tv and 87.5 for bedroom, can listen all over the house and even outside.
Use one like this, cheaper on Ebay, and plug in via an aux connector or in headphone socket.... https://www.amazon.co.uk/Mpow-Transmitter-Trapezoid-S6-S7-S7-Edge-MP3-player/dp/B00Z61Y3PG/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1488810661&sr=8-4&keywords=fm+transmitter+aux

Don't think it will, the YAS-101 has 2 optical and a co-ax input, as far as I remember, so nothing that'll take an analog 3.5mm.

I've used this for a while now and couldn't recommend it anymore! It is simply awesome. Neat little thing, reliably does the job. Worth spending that extra fiver (even discounting the warranty). The only thing is, if you are using it with in a car (like myself), I'd buy a Ground Loop noise isolator as well; this will remove the pestering noise of the car electronics.

I bought this solely for the car and it saves so much compared to buying a BT head unit. Downfall you need to charge but I have a built in samsung s6 charger which fits this as well so winning all round.

just signed up to Costco on the weekend. they say use the card/ shop as much as you want in a year and if you don't think it's for you, you can cancel b4 the end of the year. So I thought why not!

It is comparable to a 3.5mm connection certainly. Miles better than an fm transmitter

Can't seem to find anything that would make this Soundbar go wireless. :(

You're on a money saving website, but you prefer to pay more? This is why emotion shouldn't interfere with finances.

I recently got the Bluetooth 4.1 version of this for similar money. It's brilliant, battery lasts for at least 8 hours of music playback and I can't seem to notice a drop in sound quality.

It also allows two Bluetooth connections which keeps the wife happy when she gets fed up with my music.

Been using this for a few hours now and must say it sounds good. No complaints from people I'm talking to and music sounds good too. I hope it lasts

Taotronics TT-BA09 has Optical but I do not think it is sold in the UK yet. Although you can buy it from overseas sellers on eBay. Havit has a similar product which is on Amazon UK: https://www.amazon.co.uk/HAVIT-Bluetooth-Transmitter-Receiver-Wireless/dp/B01N00COOP/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1489405721&sr=1-1&keywords=havit+toslink+bluetooth+receiver for £32.99. These are transmitter/receiver devices.

I have zero experience of both devices. I recently ordered a model down the TT-BA08 which doesn't have optical which was £15.99 the other day on Amazon. Posted a deal but it didn't get much heat.
