The make is Livewire, they look the same as the ones from dealextreme at $1.98 as I have got one of each, the poundshop ones are bluetooth 2.0 and support A2DP, give me a minute and I'll post some photo's, you will be lucky to grab one though as our pounder had several rails full yesterday and none today, they have sold two gross boxes full since yesterday apparantley, and it seems traders have been grabbing them.

Should note though that no drivers are included with these, but on Windows 7 they don't need them, cant say for other OS.

I say old bean one bought two of these from Dealextreme, but they are sometimes irksome when one trys to stream ones music from a Laptop device running OS vista 32bit, blah blah blah.

Be a :pirate: and look for the full Bluesoleil software,

Alternatively I heard the Toshiba bluetooth stacks work http://support1.toshiba-tro.de/tools/bluetooth/BT-stack.zip?Submit=Download

I just use the windows one.

Agreed should work for XP upwards with full updates installed, I do find bluesoleil to be a better interface though.

Will nip to poundland see if they have anyleft thanks.

I saw these in PoundWorld, the exact same brand. So either both are doing them or the OP got the store names mixed up. Not bad for a quid.
#14
these are also on sale in Poundworld stores exactley the same make
#15
I've sold these for years in my shops, back in the day when they were £14.99...

Brilliant buy for a quid, even the dealextreme are too, used theirs for years with no probs....

Tried to buy this in Poundland Wigan; St Helens; Manchester; Liverpool; Warrington; Salford and Southport and had no joy

Actually just bought one on ebay for 99p including free postage, so definitely not worth buying to resale.

Good price though for a retail shop!
#28
As has been said, good price is your passing the store, but ebay delivered to your door is cheap enough.
#29
Loads at poundworld in the Metrocentre Gateshead

Eurgh bought one of these off eBay for £2-something from a poor guy in Hong Kong who posted free delivery.
Really wasn't worth it - in 5 days it packed up.
Easier just getting the cable and putting it in the computer :) at least you can select more than one item to send at a time.

let me guess- windows vista? i hated that, but back to normal with windows 7, i can bluetooth multiple files in one go with the standard ms stack.
#34
Good price but was perplexed what shop to buy it from till I read through all the comments
as the text description in your post still reads " ....went in to Poundland
today and saw bluetooth usb dongle ... " Unfortunately no Poundworld anywhere near me.

I use mine to use my phone as a wireless power point remote with my netbook.

How does that work without one of those expensive powerpoint remotes?
