Bluetooth Stereo Headphones.

4 Star review from What HiFi. The Bluetreks hook over your ears from behind, the electronics hanging to the rear of your head.

They look awkward, but prove comfortable (even suiting glasses-wearers), and are hard to dislodge once there.

The sound is enjoyable enough, if not the match of the best in this group theres just a bit too much boom and tizz in evidence.

Since my iPod Nano got nicked I've started using my new HTC Touch HD as my primary music player. The headphones I got with it are ok but keep getting tangled. These seem a perfect solution.

a whole 1 star review!!!

I'm more likely to trust a 4 Star What HiFi review than some random whinger. Still the proof is in the pudding so I'll reserve judgement until they arrive.

i wouldnt trust any review from what or which. they are not as unbiased as they claim.

more like startrek

Call me a snob, but I don't like the idea of my audio being compressed through Bluetooth.
#15
i wish someone would make proper in the ear, noise cancelling earphones that don't look like an anti-barking dog collar

oh and be a good price :)

I know what you mean, but i picked some bluetooth headphones up from play (via an awesome deal found on here) and wasn't expecting too much fromthe sound quality, but I was amazed at how good they were. Obviously the headphones are different to these, but streaming audio over bluetooth from my Ipod, PC, HTC Tytn II all sound remarkably good!
#17
Interesting. Does anyone know if they charge via USB, or would I need to add another black plastic box to my collection?

Too true, I don't know how they get away with it. I've seen excellent brands slated in these guides and **** ones are praised to the heavens. I tend to check amazon for my reviews as they tend to be more reliable.

People would laugh at me if they saw me out running with these on :\

So you only listen to WAV or FLAC files then?
#24
Will these be any good for voip on a pc?

I've tried using these single nokia bt earpiece (cost around £12) but the voice quality is poor.

Just having a good brand name doesn't make for a good product. All the top brands still make some really shoddy products.

I'd never heard of Onkyo (ignorance on my part) before reading What Hifi, but my Onkyo mini system which I bought on the basis of the What HiFi review is simply superb!

what quality,if compare with Motorola S9?

A question for anyone who has these (or other bluetooth wireless headphones) - do they suffer from huge latency?
I have a set (I forget the make), but they are useless for games/movies or anything else that requires audio/visual synchronisation because the encoding->transmitting->decoding process introduces a huge latency. (upto 500ms!).
#28
do these work on the ps3?

No personal experience, but not surprised - that's why there are two standards for audio over Bluetooth - you either get the quality or the responsiveness.

Do these work with MSN messenger etc??

Got mine today one problem though I've tried this on both my pc and phone but I can only get one the right one to work is it faulty or am I missing something?
#32
Does your phone and pc bluetooth support A2DP profile? If not then that'd be why. If they do then you may find they're faulty. My Touch HD supports A2DP and they're great.
#33
Clicked the link and it's not available.

EDIT: The link posted on this deal is not going to the product correctly. However, I searched the site and found it's still available.
#34
I think that's cos the black ones are out of stock, the white ones are still in stock for the same price HERE.

Well after a couple of days use I have to say I'm quite impressed. Paired with my phone immediately. Sound quality is pretty good, charge has lasted for hours and hours so far. I occasionally get a few milliseconds where the sound disappears, but over 8 hours usage that's happened about 3 times, so not a major issue. I'm using them right now in an office flooded with other bluetooth devices with no issues.

My only problem is they're a little tight on my head, but I have a larger than average head so that's true of any neckband style headphones and they'll no doubt loosen over time.

I haven't taken any calls yet so can't comment on the mic quality.
#36
Had mine for all of 4 hours now, 3 of those was for charging it by the way.... just tried it with my samsung steel SGH-L810v, took 10 tries to actually pair it up (and they were right next to each other).
Started out fine, the volume, next track etc works fine... but over the course of 5-10 mins the sound cut out approx 15 times and is very annoying, and I only had the phone a max of 2 metres away or in my pocket... so not happy with them at the moment.
Will try them again later and if the same thing happens I will return the headphones as they don't work properly... even though my phone is listed on the compatability part.
#37
How annoying for you. I've been using mine at work all day now. They work fine even in the office kitchen which is a good 12 metres away from my desk.

Although I did have one problem. Just now I accidentally pressed play and then turned them off. So my music ended up serenading the entire room.
#38
Yep, very annoying for me, just tried them again and same thing.. won't even work in my pocket, sound cuts out every second or 2..... went onto play.com to get a returns receipt etc and the website doesn't work properly either, tells me to press a red button beside the item I want to return - there's no red button, LOL... so had to phone them to get it sorted. So now all packaged up and ready to return for a replacement.. hope that one works!

I'll no doubt get the usual response on testing, them telling you it's your phone's fault.. but this time they'll be out of luck because I bought the phone from them too, so one or the other is going back for a refund, LOL
