I am based in Edinburgh and working but for those who are based in and around Manchester, its a great deal.

only problem is i chose a free flight returning 2 days later to amsterdam which came to 80 in total including taxes, with probably card fees on top, so not much cheaper overall

cheap there, twice the price back!

Fair point -maybe great for those wanting to go for an overnight stay :)

I usually travel to Palma about this time of year to see friends (not this year) and to get there and back would have been the cheapest I'd paid so still HOT from me
#5
Would be good but there are no flights left to Palma.

I'm in Japan at the moment, but like the 1st person to comment on this deal, I've heard of Manchester too.:w00t:

Can only really get outbound for 1p at Belfast, Toulouse and Newquay.. can't get return, still hot anyone travelling 1 way.

Flying for 1p and then getting stranded as the return might cost a fortune! What a good deal...lol

I’ve been taking regular flights on BMIbaby between Cardiff and Edinburgh and to be fair the flight times and service is very decent.

I’m not at all impressed with their administration/marketing/online purchasing to be very frank.

Those people who complain about Ryanair can move the benchmark with BMIbaby!

I used Ryanair during my time in Holland and once you knew how to play the game, you could get very cheap flights indeed.

Examples of my disgruntlement with BMIbaby, include but are not limited to:

Advertised special offers of flights for a lowly amount (including taxes) – whenever I look there aren’t any – maybe I’m too late? (With Ryanair I could find them easily even if it was one for 10:30am on a Tuesday morning or suchlike.)

Inability to print out boarding cards for BOTH legs of the journey BEFORE setting off – they obviously hope you won’t have access to a printer on your trip and need to pay 10 quid on your return for a boarding card issued at the airport?

Carry on baggage allowance “Nazis” (no offence to innocent National Socialists anywhere) at Cardiff Airport – they seem to have more discretion at Edinburgh and don’t demand that you stuff your bag into the cage – which is already much smaller than most other airlines permitted sizes.

I’m sure I’ll think of more as soon as I post this message..

i used to be a regular on EMA to GLA or sometimes via edinburgh when they chose

staff at GLA are bmi staff and dont give a **** about bag size on the planes

EMA is a different matter the tramps from G4S who think they are something slowing down security and the the stasi on the gate most notably a baldy manager who weighs and checks the majority of bags

ryanair are mild compare to this shower of sh1t

other tricks include cancelling flights and pushing 2 into 1 if their are 2 evening flights into a destination or doing a run from EMA to EDI to GLA to BHX and bussing passengers back to EMA which saves 2 aircraft

add to this they are the busiest at EMA but always have the worst stands for gate 23 & 23 for GLA & EMA flights

i prefer the train these days as it gets their in about the same time
