Things that matter to me, 12v has a Parental Remote.....and of course a stonking price.

the blurb:
The BMW i8 style child’s 12v ride on has beautiful lines and a style all of its own. BMW claimed the original i8 was its most progressive sports car ever as it was a petrol-electric hybrid with amazing fuel consumption, well this version is 100% electric so surely that makes it even better than the original!

All joking aside this amazing little ride on will make your child the talk of the neighbourhood with its eye catching opening doors with vibrant colour scheme, it has rear suspension, two 6v rechargeable batteries with a charger fitted with UK plug as well as a multi-function parental remote control allowing mom or dad to take over the wheel so smaller children can have a go.
What's Included

Opening Doors
Parental Remote Control
Start Button
Music Buttons
Power Display
Forward and reverse Gears
Lights
Rear Suspension
MP3 Connectivity
Easy assembly

Does anyone know how difficult it will be to build as they do charge almost £100 for assembly?

take it to your local garage

They're relatively straight forward to put together. I have the 12v jeep and the kids love it.

Fantastic price.

Great price... but warranty 6 months ?? wtf... how is that legal?
#12
taken a punt at that price, does seem different from the ones sold at toysrus and Smyth's though
#13
mp3 stereo too - has a more modern sound system than my MR2
#14
What do the batteries look like? Guessing nimh. Got some 11.1v lipo batteries I use for my quadcopters which might be better.

Easy, built my sons maserati couple of years ago. Does have flashing lights and couple of songs but you can plug in your phone via cable supplied. Good hour of fun on one charge on the solid ground. Paid bit more for this price is well worth it.

They are licensed, this one isn't (so it's BMW-style, not BMW) These guys sell the licensed one too at £199

LOL, it's not at all uncomfortable..... unless you are comparing to a super luxury saloon car like a Merc S class or 7 series - which are not sports cars, but comfy saloons.

I've driven to Scotland for a week in it, from Kent, and back.

Anyone know maximum age range please .

Received mine this morning ordered yesterday. Quite easy to put together the only tricky part was aligning the steering wheel bolt. You should listen to the music it has onboard. Two tracks are about self help and the way you should not look down on others. The lights look awesome, the seat is a bit hard but gonna try and get it upholstered before xmas.

What's it like size wise? I have a 3 year-old but he's tall/bigger frame for his age, wears 5 year old clothing.

I looked at the Home Bargains Audi but that would have been too small.

[quote=aleem] Ok it's really difficult to measure. Seat width = 39 cm. Back of seat to steering wheel = 30 cm. Depth = 30 cm. The actual size of car is Height : 44 cm Length : 102 cm Width : 68 cm. I hope that helps.

anybody planning on doing the same feel free to use the same template as me

https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B27Hw55MsiBQMkVtb1JLdW5Ec0k/view

just print to A4 without resizing (allow cropping to occur) and all of them will be printed at the correct size

Back of seat to steering wheel at 30cm is going to be tight for him I think, which is a shame.

Thanks for the measurements, much appreciated.
